Not compatible with their own beats headphones connectors!?? The relationship apple/beats electronics (beats music is going to disappear very soon) is really weird..

Not as bad as the aircraft Apple is working on.

Why are people complaining about the design? I doubt this is for every day use. But rather, if you find yourself in a situation where you'd be somewhere (perhaps without electrical sockets or charge ports) for a while.

That's what Anker battery packs are for....

So this is Apple’s answer to at least three main design flaws caused by the dogma of thinning the iPhone:

1st: battery life
2nd: usability (better grip)
3rd: Get the bulged camera flushed (preventing the phone from laying steady on its back on a flat surface)

I have no doubt Apple mainly aimed on these flaws but I don’t see any shame, and that’s what’s really sad. Remember when Apple tried to fix the iPhone 4 antennagate by giving away bumpers (FOR FREE, btw) to fix this problem temporarily? You could see their (especially Steves) disgrace about the fact a BUMPER/CASE was needed to fix a problem (that was fixed with the 4S less than a year later, btw), and now they SELL you a f****ng ugly case for $99 to fix at least three flaws instead of fixing them. What a shame.

APPLE, YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED ON WHAT YOU ARE DOING THESE DAYS!

Why ON EARTH is there still a headphone jack opening? They SHOULD seal it and release a lightning to audio adaptor!!!

On a serious note, I think if anyone needs a battery case, they are better off getting the 6s+ given the added weight and ugliness. Now, we pay premium for a thin design and pay again to bury it with a pregnant battery case..I can let the 2nd and 3rd go as it can be solved by a simple case and at least they don't compromise the camera with the obsession. But they have to stop making it thinner again by cutting down battery capacity. Narrow the bezel maybe, but leave the thickness untouched.

You'll have to take your distinction up with Apple. It's Jonny Ive & Tim Cook that refer to AW as an iPhone accessory and book earnings in that category too. Also I said mostly and didn't say AW was an accessory. You made that assumption.
Nope. My assumption is that Apple comes out with a new product category every few years at most. From the iPod to the iPhone was almost 7 years. To live up to its glory days, Apple can coast for several more years, merely incrementally improving it existing products. The days when Apple came up with something totally innovative every year were... never.

Why? Why? Why...

Oh the humanity...o_O

This plus the lighting connector under the Magic Mouse plus the rumors to get rid of the audio plug...

This seems like someone with an insane power of authority at Apple is going rogue and would want to see a stupid celebrity using this crap of "case" to win a bet.

Recently it has been one step forward and three back.

What is the stupid tag line for this one?

No comments on that unsightly baby bump on the back of the case?

Did no one else notice it?
It's considered "not done" to talk about bulges, nipples, or other protrusions. Also it's considered "not done" talking about people choices that led to these protrusions and bulges. To people under 21 this all remains a mystery. Children that need clarification are encouraged to turn to god and the priests that seem most friendly. People above 21 just pay up and use the bulge, unknowing about the contents of it.

He wasn't ashamed of a flaw. He was ashamed of the customers going out of their way to recreate a "flaw" to get attention. The idiocracy is already here...

I think even my ~$9 Xiaomi 10400mAh battery pack looks much better than this, it is also 91% cheaper and has 6 times more battery
And it doesn't fit in your pocket, nor are you going to be strapping the battery pack to your iPhone and walking around with it in this manner.

Different devices, differing use cases, different constraints to take into consideration.

Is it safe to say that apple acknowledge the battery problem? Is so, is it safe to say that it's both consumers' and apple's fault that leads to this result? I mean, people continuing to support thinner and lighter and compromise battery?
That's akin to saying NFL fans love what Roger Goodell is doing. You know, because the ratings are still going up. You can like/watch/purchase something, without being 100% in love with it. Apple's shrinking batteries, Ive's obsession with thinness, and the NFL referees all fall into the same category - It's we put up with, for the overall product.

I bought the iPhone 4 back then and I can assure you, the flaw was real, it was not created by anyone to gain attention. It was a real problem, especially in areas with low signal strength... But you're missing the point, anyway...

WTF are you talking about?

This is basically the tech version of the Dennis Rodman Lakers jersey. AKA you knew it wasn't going to last but just want one to sell on ebay.
