Can anyone running El Capitan check if Coda works?

Also, is there any sign of a compatible/incompatible app list anywhere yet?

Thanks

DO ___ N O T___ INSTALL THE BETA!!! READ BELOW!

Just a day after releasing a new set of developer builds for iOS 9 and OS X El Capitan, Apple today launched its public beta program for both upcoming operating systems. Apple had announced at WWDC last month that it would launch the public betas in July, and a new support document published yesterday regarding changes to two-factor authentication hinted a launch was imminent.

DO __N O T__ INSTALL THE BETA IOS 9 ! ! !
During the installation something goed terrible wrong!
The phone gets stuck! NO WAY to get back in again!
I tried to put my backup back, but in order to that you HAVE to put "find my phone" on OFF, IN your phone.
But you cant get in your phone.

Just got off the phone with Apple. Their comment?
"Sorry, it says clearly in the agreement this MIGHT happen and that we do NOT give support on this, you should have read the small print!"

One Iphone 6+ ready for the dustbin!!!

So far here's how El Capitan is turning out:-

  1. After the upgraded - About This Mac show OS X Yosemite and and the beta version attached to El Capitan. Took two reboots to fix this. Baffled how this could occur
  2. Safe mode is useless - boots to safe mode no issue, but no files show in finder anywhere - even after waiting 5 minutes - Finder window stays empty.
  3. Vodafone Australia USB Device, now fails to function even after completely uninstalling the Vodafone USB software numerous times. Now this was working perfectly but now I get "The NetManager service could not be used because the application could not be found" I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software but same issue. I did a search and noticed the framework files for this software were not in Frameworks – copy and paste won't work either.
  4. I hate the slimmed down version of Disk Utility - You can no longer (as an advanced user) run Verify Disk / Repair Disk / Repair Disk Permissions - these options have been scrapped to a single "First Aid" button, but Apple should allow and "Advanced" version which shows the other options. Oh by the way even Safe mode has the same restrictive Disk Utility options.
  5. Still has the crazy "other" when viewing hard disk space availability - it's too ambiguous. However I use a 3rd party app called DaisyDisk which shows in colours where the files are, how much space etc and gets around this "other" issue. https://itunes.apple.com/au/app/daisydisk/id411643860?mt=12 ($13 Australian).

iOS 9 update froze. I did a hard reset. Waited a couple of minutes... and it continued updating!

Trim was enabled on my 10.10.4 and the upgrade to 10.11 turned it off. I expected that Trim would be enabled by default? I had to run the command to enable it. :)
That's funny. I just did the upgrade on my 2012 Mac Mini as well. This time I checked - TRIM was enabled before the upgrade, and remained enabled when the upgrade was done. This was on Samsung 850Pros in RAID0 as the system boot drive.

ok, installed on my iPad.
Even though iCloud Drive is easier to use, there is still no "Open in ... iCloud Drive" - If they had that then I'd drop dropbox in a heartbeat.

Installed it on my iPad air (1) performance seems to be ok besides some lag in the task switcher and in the general UI. 8.4 was definitely smoother. But I don't complain, the new features are nice. :)

1. It's a beta
2. I never use Safe mode, I haven't run into any major problems since 10.0b (yes, the very first OS X release)
3. New OS's can potentially break things.
4. Apple already said repairing permissions is not necessary.
5 Wow, you paid $12.99 while you can get THIS one for free!

--------------

I installed iOS 9 beta yesterday on an iPhone 4S, it's not too bad but when I open (any) app it does not show me the opening screen for that app, just a black screen, anyone has the same.

I've downloaded the beta on my Macbook Pro 2011, so far so good, i have noticed my Macbook seems faster at opening things like Safari. I really like the split view it's really helpful when writing a quick note or document and watching a video.

I used safe mode as a test to see if it can be used if required - well finder show's no files at all in Finder not matter what you choose. New OS's can break things, but to somehow alter one part of an application that is reinstalled upon reinstallation is not normal as the reinstall copies the data back. Apple say a lot of things, but I don't always trust them - I want a choice, not be forced to their way of doing things. Thought they would have learnt this by now. I have the App but did not cost a cent and I prefer its colourful layout and the way it shows information. Gran Perspective is garbage.

I installed the PB on my iPhone 6 last night and have been unable to use the proactive assistant panel (left of home screen). There's just a message about what it's capable of. I wasn't sure if mine was just having an issue, or if it was disabled for the public beta.
