I have "reduce motion" turned on. Think that has anything to do with it?
Possibly - I kept mine on so not sure what did it and made no changes to the setting.

Question:
The 2-finger text selection thing - it works for me on the iPad but not on the iPhone. Is it not supported on the iPhone 6?

Don't install this on your personal/work machine unless you know what you're doing.

I would put it a different way.dont install the betas if
1. You don't have w backup of your current data
2 there are any third party apps you can not lose access to, especially for work or school.
3. You can't afford to have your stuff take a **** and have to be fully wiped etc to work again (especially your phone)

Cause the moment you fail on one of those, you will lose.

Heck my BF had someone just this morning fail all three. Dude spent an hour screaming at store manager about wanting compensation for lost business over his phone crashing (and he's out of warranty so it's a good thing the restore worked) and losing like 50k contacts that have never been backed up.

For the record no he didn't get anything.

I saw some odd behavior in Photoshop; so, I'm restoring back to stable OS X. Will take over 4 hours to restore despite using USB 3. Be ready to wait if you have to restore. ;)

Quick question: yesterday I downloaded and installed El Capitan on a MB Pro I don't regularly use and today I wanted to do the same to another MB I also own but the App Store says I already redeemed that code! Any clues on how I can also download/install El Capitan Beta on another Mac?? Thanks.

Had you ever installed the stable release of 8.4?

Each time I re-install the 8.4 profile, Update tells me I have the latest version of iOS 8.4 ... no further beta downloads. I'm not sure how to force Update to show me the new bits.

Ive always had beta and final releases of iOS. For example, my iPad Air 2 would not allow me to update to iOS 9 and kept showing 1 update but could not find it. I had to press the home and hold the power button to force it to reboot and then the 8.4 update installed.

Last year Yosemite betas appeared in my 'purchases' in the App Store app. Check there

Well, not much luck with iOS with the apps I use and need daily. Going back to production version.

OS X El Capitan works good though.

Using IOS 9 drain my battery fast but other than that I have no issues with ios9 yet. I will update coming weeks or months If I experience any issues.

Anyone had any success with AirDrop after installing iOS 9 + El Capitan? Mine "works" in that the Mac recognizes the transfer in progress from iOS devices, but no files end up on the Mac when it's done..

iOS 9 was painfully slow on my iPhone 6 plus, so it had to go, sadly. So much for optimizations :p

Could you please tell us one important detail: When you ran "sudo trimforce enable", did you have to disable rootless first?

I tried to as I thought it was required but I received an error (exception error) message or something to that effect. I was surprised that it hadn't been enabled by default. This is for a Samsung EVO. I noticed others didn't have to reenable trim after the upgrade.

Your post, when read as a direct reply to my question, is unclear about whether you're talking about rootless or trimforce.

When you ran "sudo trimforce enable", did it say "Operation not permitted"? Is that what you meant?

Or... are you talking about getting an error when trying to disable rootless?

I should have read the forums before upgrading, errrr, I mean screwing up my Mac, which by the way, I can't even go back via time machine or reinstall of Mavericks... lmfao.. Way to go Apple, Oops, I mean me for thinking everything would be ok, because it always was.

I seem to be one of the few who could actually redeem their code and got a message "Thank you, your file is downloading" without bothering with searching for it in Purchases. Probably helped that I didn't do it yesterday. Will be installing on an external drive so that curiosity doesn't kill a cat.
Cats are cute. Don't kill them.
