Just like everything else he does.Guessing Tim’s memo about leaks was quite effective.

That's already possible in Xcode to develop Mac and iOS version concurrently and doesn't necessarily imply any new functionality. Also, the Mac code has 'import AppKit' at the top, rather than some new hybrid framework.I don't think anyone else realises that the Mac app project was in same project as the iOS app.
Could that mean cross platform apps?
It helps a lot when you work in front of the screen all day. Bright colors are hard on many peoples eyes after so long and you leave the office with eye strain. Dark mode helps alleviate that.
They should replace the trash icon with an iconified version of the mac pro![]()
Finally a leak on macOS! Been too long. I like it.
Howfunny Launchpad is still there ... does this anyone really use?
I’m not upgrading, besides the 64 bit only format, I’m tired of locating over 100 albums iTunes can’t find every upgrade.

I may be in the minority, but I'm not a huge fan of the dark mode. I see it all over the place, so its certainly a popular theme
The opposite is true. A dark field of view makes the pupils dilate. With a bright field of view the pupils contract, thereby diminishing most optical aberrations (in particular astigmatism) and increasing the depth of field. This reduces the effort to focus, a major source of eye strain.
Let's not forget that a bright screen is still far dimmer than what we'd consider daylight. Which of course is what our eyes have evolved to work with.

wallpaper pls!
Have fun with that. You can join the others who say every year that they're not upgrading. Apple can't cater to the tiny minority who don't want to upgrade. Doing so stops them from moving the OS forward. Has Apple said yet that macOS 10.14 is going to be 64bit only? It's likely that 10.14 will be the last macOS that supports the use of 32bit applications with some compromises. If the apps you use are still 32bit, you should upgrade them. 64bit is long overdue, and any developer who is still not making their apps 64bit is not worth buying software from.

I read this “64 bit only” on Macworld and other Mac related websites, they also provided info on how to detect if one’s Mac has 32 bit apps to prepare for the new OSX. Since I still use CS4 daily, why give adobe more money?
I just hope Apple lets me decide how to operate MY computer and bypass this OSX without the annoying reminders daily.
Sad days these when the only thing we can expect in terms of interface renew are...new wallpapers...
Huh. That can't be right, can it? Seems to completely contradict my own experience where mostly white content on screen at night is clearly and obviously much better at illuminating a room than dark content if you leave the screen brightness unchanged. Granted, even "black" pixels won't become completely invisible in the dark and some amount of light will still be emitted (unless you're using OLED), but they are surely less bright than "white" ones? This is true in real world when we are looking at day and night, but a screen's brightness is the same (measured in candela per square metre - cd/m2) regardless of whether the images or interface on the screen are light or dark.
Is Apple copying Google with dark mode? Why does Apple wait until after google releases it because then it seems like they are copying them. I’ve been using dark mode on you tube for a while and love it. I also love my dark mode in the music app Cesium.
The new keyboard is essentially ready, although they’ve probably cracked down on durability testing following the reports. There are other things, related, and unrelated that they are working on. I think they could have had it ready for WWDC which would have been great, but it’s easy to forget that last years WWDC release was just 7-8 months after the 2016 model.Your reasoning makes sense, especially if the improved keyboard is not yet ready for the new MacBook Pro. Still, it's disappointing to see new laptops with the hex-core Coffee Lake chips while the MacBook Pro stays behind on quad-core Kaby Lake.
Maybe Apple can at least lower the price, though lately even that has been too much to ask...
Xcode has used yellow folder icons in the sidebar for a very long time. It's nothing new.

Just grab the app and drag it to where you want it? I know it’s not as easy as an instantaneous ‘organise everything alphabetically’ button, but it’s doable...Yep, just tried it again and its not for me. Why? because there is no way to manage the organization. I want everything in alpha order. Another case of what is wrong at Apple, that is for them to think that there is only one way, the Apple way. Apple did not start with this attitude.
