He said his grandfather liberated a concentration camp and saw death chambers. Some times the terminology is mixed. What some call death camps or extermination camps gets confused with others call death chambers, meaning a portion of concentration camps were bodies were disposed of.

The actual extermination camps were liberated by the Soviets weeks before the US forces reached concentration camps.
