Honestly i figured you were just going to scream "Fake news" but refusing to acknowledge facts and reality is typical for a Trump voter.

Sorry dude:

My comments was meant for the person that was arguing against you.

He did not “let it become an issue.” He produced his legally valid birth certificate before the election in 2008 (something no other president had ever done before). Blaming the subsequent birther idiocy on Obama is beyond ridiculous.
My mistake. I did not realize he released it before the election. It was never an issue for me. I never believed it.

The judge was a member of a la raza group. That literally means ‘the race’.

He was a member of the California La Raza Lawyers Association. They are a professional organization that focuses on professional development among Latino lawyers. It isn’t’t a racist organization and has no affiliation with the National Council of La Raza.

Funny Trump won't release his tax returns or full finances and republicans have no problems with that but the when FEC says they are satisfied with Obama's paperwork that's not enough for republicans who have never before question if a candidate was born in America and demanded his birth certificate before....

Like I said in my last post, my mistake regarding the timing of Obama’s response. Also although I’m not a republican, I’m not an Obama supporter. Having said that I’m not on team Trump either. I find it disturbing we are supposed to be okay with him not releasing his tax returns because “I’m under audit”. Is he still under audit?

I don’t know that they ‘marched along side’. Do you? I’ll be honest I don’t know much about the event. I wasn’t there. Where you? The news obviously wanted to portray everyone there as being racist Nazis. But I don’t think they were.

I honestly cant believe that we are debating the potability that some people marching near, along side, or on the same side at an event where Nazis chanted "blood and soil" and "the Jews will not replace us" with Klansmen openly shouting about a race war are "fine people".

Personally I wouldn’t say much to a real group of Nazis because they are dangerous.

My grandfather in a nursing home told me he would "punch a nazi in the ****ing throat" if he ever saw one again and that he didn't fight them in the 40s and lose friend to see them walk the streets again.

If your standard is held then as I said Nazis can just show up at a BLM and march worth them. Then we can say BLM marches along side Nazis.

If Nazis showed up at a BLM march, guess what, the BLM march ends with a fight between them and the Nazis. Under no circumstances would any group other than other Nazis and racists march long side Nazis and not confront them.

OMFG i can't believe i am debating someone who is defending those who side with Nazis and Klansmens...

I miss the days of politicians finishing with the presidency and then humbly disappearing from the public eye and pursuing other forms of service. Cashing in on fame of political and service? Ugly. The kind of thing I expect from Trump.

People can be raised to behave a certain way, and therefore they do so. But they can also be open to seeing outside of what they are taught. To me, that speaks volumes for what they have within them. And even if they are marching, I would say, they are fine people ... but perhaps someone else might accept: "they have the potential to be fine people, but aren't actually". -- Some people are just victims of their environment. Furthermore, there's mental constructs which cause people to do things uncharacteristic of themselves, when it's done en masse.

People can go completely insane socially even if they had no traits of insanity prior.

Nope.

If you march with Nazis then you're in lock step with their beliefs. You are either a Nazi or like minded if you march with side by side.

If you are a fine person, you don't associate yourself with Nazis.

I would put my content out on Netflix rather than Apple at this point if I wanted more broad distribution. Apple's reach is relatively small for media content. With Netflix, you could pretty much get your content out there to pretty much any device you want. Hell I wouldn't be surprised if there are screens on refrigerators that have Netflix built into them.

What evidence do you have that this is Obama “cashing in?” From everything I’ve read about this, he views this an opportunity to educate and inform viewers on important issues. That sounds to me like a “form of service.”

Apple shouldn't try to get into this business anyway. Low returns and not a good use of cash. Just increase my dividend if you don't know what to do with this.

Then, I conclude you are not a fine person due to your closed-mind, and the hate in your heart. Fair?

Just so i am clear you don't think that person is a "fine person" because he hates Nazis? Well then, I would wear it as a badge of honor if you said i wasn't a "fine person" because i hate Nazis and you would make my grandfather a proud man knowing his grandson hated Nazis.

What is with the name Dotard or Drumpf that I keep seeing you dish out? What is the significance there? Is it just some kindergarten type of name calling tactic or is there some kind of significance to it? If it's the former it really does not help your case, just sounds insanely childish.

There is a Trump docu-series on Netflix too, haven't watched it yet. Not sure if it's slanted or not.

To be fair though, I absolutely will go in and make fun of Orange Nixon if there's a thread about a Netflix series surrounding him. I just won't threaten to cancel my subscription and such. Seems pretty petty. If I did that, I'd have to give up books, magazines, cable, many movies, etc.
[doublepost=1526926988][/doublepost]

It's definitely the former, without shame.

No it’s not the former and you both could have a done a quick search instead of just using those words to try and attack another poster. Dotard is the word Kim (north korea) used to insult trump. And Drumpf was the Trump’s Family name before it was changed to seem more American.

So we shouldn’t scrutinize details about presidential candadites? Got it. This was easy to disprove. Obama let it become an issue for no reason.
The Federal Election Commission was completely satisfied with his proof that he met the qualifications necessary to become the US president. Then random people like Trump insisted they needed moar proof - from Obama, but not from any other candidate. And the real point of at least some of them wasn't, "we simply need this proof then we can sleep at night." I've had the experience of responding to conservatives, "but he released his long-form birth certificate, far more proof than any other presidential candidate has ever provided", and having them tell me, "oh, but that could be a forgery." Yes, I'm sure that's not all conservatives. What I'm pointing out is, there was/is a contingent that believes in their heart-of-hearts that President Obama was somehow unqualified to be president, and they just keep re-rolling the facts and alternative facts to try to fit their narrative.

If I was running for the highest office in the land and you wanted proof I wasn’t a sophisticated robot I would be happy to give you a blood test and my birth certificate.
No, see, that's the fun of this - you don't get to decide that my request is only warranted if you were running for president - I get to decide which hoops you have to jump through, and for what purpose, and what qualifies as properly jumping through the hoops. I'll need a brain tissue sample now (certified as having come from your head, by six doctors of my choosing), in order to for you to keep posting here. After all, the only reason you'd have for not complying with my simple request, is if you really are a robot.

Oh god. At first I wanted to cancel my Netflix subscription, but now I might actually watch it to see how they intentionally skew events in the past to put themselves in a good light. Don't mistake this for what it is -- purely political.

Easily the worst president in the history of the United States. Completely inept on so many levels.

I remain completely dumbfounded that anyone can look at the current president and say this about Obama. I understand how some people disagree with his policies and actions, but calling him inept, as compared to Trump, is just willful ignorance.

No, I was merely reflecting a point.

So instead I'll reflect it this way:

I saw the march, and personally what i saw was ... a bunch of scared people on both sides. I could see the terror in their eyes as their beliefs were challenged with hostility. I could see the anger in the eyes of those that felt invalidated / violated. I saw the man who was hit as he was preaching hate, and after he was hit ... he was completely surprised, as I laughed and thought "what did you expect?" But then I realized, as I saw in his eyes, he truly didn't understand why he was hit.

I stepped back and saw the magnitude / implications of that.

On one side, you have those preaching the hate of a race.

On the other side, you have those preaching the hate of hate.

So you have two hateful sides fighting, with both sides believing that their hate is more justified than the other. Yet, both are preaching hate. You believe you are a fine person. They believe they are too. Are you more of a fine person because your hate is better than theirs?

BLM advocates for the elimination of others ethnicities/religious beliefs???? Really? I thought they were just anti-police.

What I meant was that I was absolutely being juvenile like he accused me of.... That's why I said "the former".

I'm well aware of where Dotard (in relation to Trump) originates from. I don't recall attacking anyone by using the word "Drumpf", its just a goofy name for Trump that I like to use.

Trump has hardly let a day go by without making accusations about Obama and the Obama administration on twitter, as well as every third time he opens his mouth in public.

In response to this we have thousands of Obama's tweets attacking Trump's inaccurate statements, mischaracterizations, and character assassination. Oh, wait, no, we don't. Because Obama has shown near unbelievable restraint in not answering back to all of Trump's trash talk. He has kept himself quite far outside of the public eye.

Cashing in on fame of political and service? What, exactly, could he do that would not cause someone to claim he was cashing in? Move to a remote farm and live off the land? Become an anonymous Uber/Lyft driver? What would you suggest?

On one side you have Nazis who hates the jews and want all jews exterminated and their fellow marchers want all non whites wiped from America in order to create a pure white America. On the other side you have people who think that's wrong...I'm more than cool if you want to put me in the group that hates Nazis.

Oh memorial day is soon, you should have this discussion with some WWII vets about how it's wrong to hate Nazis...
