Apple Music is definitely worth $10 a month for me, but I’m not sure what value I’d put on any of the other Apple services. Actually, I tried a subscription for Apple Arcade. I don’t usually play games on my phone, but there was one I wanted to try. The problem is that, when I stopped playing it regularly, Apple Arcade lost its value to me. So Apple Arcade has a value of $0 a month for me (or maybe $1 or $2 as part of a bundle).
I haven’t tried Apple TV+ yet. I suspect it may have some value for me, but probably not $5 a month (at least until it gets some more back catalogue shows), so I actually am interested in a bundle with it. $12 a month, and I’d probably upgrade to a bundle, at least for a few months (one of the great thing about Apple subscriptions is being able to change your subscription details through the App Store really quickly). $13 a month, I’m not sure. I’d probably do a $15 a month bundle that did Apple Music, Apple TV+, and Apple Arcade.
Apple News+, I don’t use the Apple News app because I found it wasn’t all that flexible in adding the sites/types of articles I’m actually interested in and often sourced articles from places I didn’t like. Plus, I didn’t like how it would suggest news articles in the search interface/today view. I just use an RSS reader instead. However, the back catalogue of magazines is a tempting proposition, though I always feel guilty when I have a magazine subscription but don’t read them. It’s not even necessarily a money thing, I feel guilty when stuff accumulates in my Pocket reading list or my RSS reader! Anyway, Apple News+ definitely isn’t worth the same price as Apple Music to me! $3-$5 a month, and I’d consider it.
I’d actually be slightly tempted by an Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple News+ bundle, assuming it were only $17 a month. I feel like Apple’s contracts with music companies (Apple Music), game devs (Apple Arcade), and news companies (Apple News+) probably have the least room for negotiating bundle prices, so I’d expect Apple TV+ to have the most room for a price reduction via bundle. Actually, the bundle prices might not be much of a discount just on account of the third party content fees Apple has to deal with for most of these services.
I pay for 50GB of iCloud storage for $1 a month. That’s all the extra cloud storage I need since my music, videos, apps, etc., don’t count against that storage. I use it for iCloud backups, iCloud Mail, photos, documents. I use more than 5GB, but less than 10, and I won’t likely need to upgrade more than 50GB for years. I could see Apple including iCloud storage as part of these bundles. I’d rather see something like Apple Music, Apple TV+, 50GB or 100GB iCloud storage for $15 (I’d probably consider that). I’d very much prefer Apple include some quantity of iCloud storage (even just 50GB) as part of the lower tier bundles instead of limiting it to higher tier bundles.
