Honest answer: Nobody really cares.Honest question: Which one is better for the artists?
Since the vast majority of the money is paid to the labels, who in turn pay the artists, that really isn't a question that can be answered. Apple supposedly pays higher rates (really don't care to verify right now), but that doesn't necessarily translate to "better for the artists". Then you have to factor in a whole host of other variables to determine who's best for artists.Honest question: Which one is better for the artists?
Not for the better sadly. He’s been dead for a long time, things change.
What are those other reasons?
Alright who using Amazon Music
I guess it's all a matter of perspective. Not for the better sadly.
Yes, mainly having 'deluxe' albums or 'greatest hits' album still being shown. It reallly clusters your music searching albity, and is the main reason browsing on the Mac Music.app is so slow.Does anyone else find the Apple Music app to be "clunky" and not pleasant to use?
Because Apple Music is awesomeSpotify rightfully at #1. Don't know why anyone would use anything else.. especially Apple Music?
Nope it’s excellent. Definitely not windowsy, and I dislike windowsyYes, most definitely. I still use it, but I really wish it were completely redesigned.
Browsing is slow? Probably your WiFi or internet. I have a 2014 MBP, not slow at allYes, mainly having 'deluxe' albums or 'greatest hits' album still being shown. It reallly clusters your music searching albity, and is the main reason browsing on the Mac Music.app is so slow.
That's the old CD bussiness model, thats pointless in the streaming bussiness model.
It’s available on all my Apple devices, especially the Apple Watch and Apple TV (as I still don’t have HomePods in my country). It’s integrated with Siri, and I just like keeping it all within the Apple ecosystem.
- Sound quality relative to Spotify, at least for my my preferred listening material.
- 'Just works' across iPhone/CarPlay, iPad, Mac, HomePod & Sonos.
Better sound quality.
Honest question: Which one is better for the artists?
Honest answer: Nobody really cares.
Do even the artists themselves not care?^Sadly, this is true.
Who do the artists say gives them a better deal?Since the vast majority of the money is paid to the labels, who in turn pay the artists, that really isn't a question that can be answered. That’s why Apple is a telephone company. Steve would never have allowed us to get here. He’s been dead for a long time, things change.
Does anyone else find the Apple Music app to be "clunky" and not pleasant to use?
I can't stand Spotify's designs since the early days. Apple Music works seamlessly in iOS and maturing in macOS. There is no interest for me to add a poor architecture code base, pig of a product in Apple ecosystem.

Funny, I don't ever get this `nag screen.'
Since there isn't hate for other high-def / lossless streaming services, one must conclude it's because of either the genre of music (Rap/hip-hop) that Tidal specializes in. Or...who owns the service?I don’t understand the hate for Tidal. Some of us with hi-fi gear appreciate the higher sound quality especially listening at home. When I go out in public transport or the gym then I use my MediocrePods Pro with Spotify on my iPhone when sound quality isn’t relevant.
Right now, the majority of artists are broke as **** and/or working second and third jobs to make ends meet. Streaming services are all trash that don’t compensate artists fairly, but sure, let’s get hype over them making millions off of the work of others.
If you only stream music, buy one album by an artist you love today.
Any credible sources to back it up? Genuinely curious. 🖐
Yeah. 256 AAC is transparent. 320 mp3 is not.

For reference, fig.3 shows the spectrum of the signal on the CD. Other than the well-defined green vertical lines representing the tones and the uniform background noise, the spectrum is clean. Important points to note with this graph are that 1) all musical fundamentals lie to the left of the...www.stereophile.com
No sane person bought a HomePod.Isn't the research skewed since Homepod limits you to Apple Music? That's almost as pointless as mentioning Edge/Internet Explorer usage on Windows.
