I heard you the first time. And I find it laughable that anyone doesn’t recognize that Obama is far, far more popular that Trump right now. Trump would be lucky to clear 200 electoral votes in a head-to-head race with Obama.
Obama's not running. There are 24 clowns that escaped from the circus running. You can watch some of them prance about tonight.

haha, you used project veritas and truth in the same sentence. Funny stuff.

Project Veritas has been caught distorting the truth and straight up lying more times than I can remember, yet Trumpservatives everywhere still trust them more than actual news companies with fully-staffed research departments that correct mistakes when they discover them.

It's sad how far gone some people are.

Oh, like when places such as the Washington Post have to print corrections on the false stories they publish about Project Veritas?

LOL. GDP at levels Obama said was impossible. Unemployment at an all time low (or near it). Stock market rolling. Wages actually up. Economy humming along. No longer viewed as a paper tiger and yet he hasn't had to get us in any wars. Let us know when you can actually look objectively.

That sounds great when you completely ignore 2008-16 and the economy and unemployment that a certain guy handed to Trump after yet another Republican President complete blew-up the economy (not in the good sense) and handed Obama a bag of flaming crap.

But, yeah, lets ignore that, our right-leaning "narrative" cant hold up to that kind of light-of-day scrutiny.

Stock market has no effect on the majority of the middle class and the wages, well, that's not as simple a discussion (or a slam dunk) as you make it out to be.

I mean lean the way you need to lean but actual truth, and facts matter. The intellectual dishonesty coming from you fringe right-wingers is staggeringly absurd.

And your last sentence, shows how obtuse you shockingly are. Like, a true "wow" moment of self-awareness gone off the rails.

We've been used to that since Bill and Killary lived in the White House.
[doublepost=1561551980][/doublepost]
And here we see how the left really feels. The mask comes off. Don't live in a big, urban area? You're a redneck. A basket of deplorables. The contempt just drips.
Yeah...my eyes rolled at that comment. Who’s the bigot now?

Popular vote doesn’t determine the elections. California alone does not chose the president. And guess what, remove California from the popular vote, Trump has 4 million more votes. The Democrats enter the election at a huge advantage with electoral votes just from New York and California. The fact they can’t take advantage of that is beyond me.

Why would we remove California from the popular vote? Do you forget that Texas exists? You don't seem to have a very good comprehension of how the electoral system works if you think it favors democrats.

Do all the MAGA folk seek out Macrumors or something?

It's super bizarre.

Those characters aren’t fictional. They actually want to see who can give away the most things. These people are real. It’s who succeeds with identity politics the most.

You are completely misrepresenting these candidates' platforms. I suggest you take a look at the candidate's from a lens that isn't Fox News colored.

As a side-note, I find it extremely humorous how Trump supporters continue to accuse Democrats of playing identity politics when Trump's entire platform has been built on identity politics from the very beginning.

The guy literally cannot complete a sentence without talking about himself.

It's not about America, it never has been. It's always been about him.

How is Trump talking about himself “identity politics?”

I don’t think you understand what that term means.

If you want to go there, technically the candidate with the highest number of total votes is who the people actually wanted.

And in this case, Hillary Clinton was America's choice. She is what the American people wanted.
And both times Barack Obama ran, he won the popular vote both times.

Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton were America's choices.

Donald Trump was not America's choice.

No, we're just looking for a significant upgrade to the current occupant of our Whitehouse....though that wouldn't take much. Lunch sack and some dog **** and we would have our upgrade.
Ah, the venom!

The “popular vote“ is not a thing. It means nothing. It’s just something made up by losers.

i·den·ti·ty pol·i·tics
noun
  1. a tendency for people of a particular religion, race, social background, etc., to form exclusive political alliances, moving away from traditional broad-based party politics.
Word for word, that explains MAGA and it explains Trumpism.

Clinton received 65,844,610 votes.
Trump received 62,979,636 votes.

Hillary Clinton received more votes than Donald Trump and was America's choice. There's really no other way you can argue this fact or spin it. Numbers don't lie and numbers don't care about your feelings.

I mean, you can try to argue it but you'd just end up embarrassing yourself.

It doesn’t mean anything. That’s now how elections are decided. It’s like saying a team in the World Series scores more runs total in a best of 7 series but still loses the Series is the “real winner.” It’s nonsensical. Its idiotic and it’s truly embarrassing that people still spout this nonsense.

The only thing that matters is the electoral college. That’s how elections are decided. Everything else is just ignorant noise. But hey, keep spouting the nonsense.

Let me explain this in a way I'm sure even you Trump supporters can understand.

Let's say you have 10 Skittles sitting on the table: 7 blue ones and 3 red ones.
There are more blue Skittles than red Skittles, therefore blue is the majority color.

It doesn't matter where these Skittles are physically located on the table... except if you're trying to avoid bringing numbers into a basic math argument and desperately clinging to the only way you can possibly win when the numbers aren't in your favor.

Leaning on the Electoral College because you couldn't win the majority vote is super weak and shows your so-called movement simply doesn't have the strength you desperately want it to.

What are you talking about? My point was Apple has its own biases (really with the squirt gun?). You just kind of ran off the rails there about telling people to buckle up or something.

By the time the general rolls around, they will be putting people in jail for making fun of Democrats.

Nah, by then Trump's fans will still be chanting "Lock Her Up!" and we'll be making fun of them for not realizing Klobuchar's another female Democrat who's never been indicted (and for not realizing that HRC is not in the 2020 lineup).

As for going off the rails.... suggesting Apple's going to have an abortion emoji is right up there. Just because they decided to have a roundup of info on the many Democrats that happen to be running for office in the upcoming primary? Get a grip!

Stop with the spin. Numbers are numbers. If someone wants to say a number is higher or lower than another then it is easy to compare. Stock market absolutely affects middle class and wages. The fact you don't think it does shows you know very little how it actually works. Anyone trying to argue that the market, economy, etc is anything but roaring right now is lost. Again the economy is forward looking.

still doesn't change the fact that since he has taken office the economy, unemployment, GDP, wages, stock market, foreign affairs are all better. Obama put forth bad policy for a constitutional republic that practices capitalism. Trumps policies are more in line with a constitutional republic that practices capitalism

Whew. Cant fix people. Trump ran with the idea to win the electoral vote as the rules are written. The team in football that has the most yards does not win the game. The team with the most points does. The fact that the Dems want to focus on winning the popular vote of citizens is the problem. That does not win elections.

If there are 3 areas on the table and whoever has the majority of areas wins and all 7 blues are in one area and the reds are split among 2 areas then that is what matters. Both parties knew what it took to win the election. One focused on it. Not to mention it shows you have no clue how the electoral college works since not one citizen actually votes for a President. They vote for an elector who then casts their vote for a presidential candidate. Whoever wins the popular vote of the 540 electors wins the election. SO Trump won the popular vote for who actually matters...the electors.

Can any of you actually do some due diligence and tell the truth. Between your false claims of GDP, wages, and now hoe the election functions no wonder people are sick of the leftists. Why is it you leftists always want everyone else to fix your problems but the rightists want to fix their own problems and actually show some self responsibility?

Nope. Not at all a fan of the idea of an emoji for an abortion.

But I like the idea of Apple News rounding up info on the Dem candidates. I get lazy in the summer and my mind wanders to the thought of lying in a hammock with a pile of beach reads.

At least if I tote an iPad or my phone along I can take advantage of Apple News helping me do my civic duty and find out fairly easily what the Dems are up to as the candidates head away from the first round of debates.

I'm looking forward to the first Democratic Party debate tonight, keeping in mind that the one in South Carolina the R's had was extremely entertaining in 2016...

or as Reince Priebus put it while trying to ignore the fact that Trump laid waste to all those establishment GOP competitors...

"Our well-qualified & experienced candidates continue to put forth serious solutions to restore prosperity & strength to America #GOPdebate

8:11 PM - 13 Feb 2016

:D it was a real food fight if you remember... I almost spilled my tea when I encountered the word "serious" in ol' Reince's tweet there.
Anyway I am looking forward to seeing if Apple News reports any food fight aspects of tonight's debate amongst the Dems. We are used to having those, and why not? The primary season is the season of brainstorming, it reminds me of when we'd park around the kitchen table at home and try to figure out as a family how to have a good time on the next three weekends when we were already over the grocery budget just having gone to a movie together the previous Saturday. We know the Rs have spent everything in the kitty and then some on the unfunded tax cut, so.... we may as well enjoy the brainstorming season because the real aftermath of the 115th Congress is just barely starting to show its teeth to America and there's a year and change to go before "the reckoning" that lies ahead of us no matter who wins the 2020 races.

I expect Apple New to report everything each Demo candidate has to say about economic policy, especially if they propose how to get the dough for their plans.

Not as obsessed as leftists and the Democratic party are with infanticide and abortion 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, right up to and including birth (see the governor of VA, right before his KKK picture took the spotlight away from this gaff).

It's appalling and it's hurting the Democratic party. As science becomes more and more advanced, we see abortion is truly taking a life--it's murder. And the leftists and the Democratic party cheer for it--they "shout their abortions." They revel in it. They are empowered by it. And it's a scourge.

The uneasy compromise of "safe, legal and rare" is long, long gone.
