Apple Now Accepting Pre-Orders for iPhone 4S, Unlocked Coming in November

Pleasantly surprised that I was able to order off AT&Ts store just now without any problems.

Anyone able to upgrade and keep their $15/1500 text plan?

I selected $20/unlimited as I had no choice but at the end it was not in my order.
 
New black 32GB and 16GB iPhone 4s both with Applecare+ ordered through Apple's website!
 
It took a while, but I got through on the phone. The computer system is hosed!
I am now $538 lighter.
64gb w/AppleCare +
Now we'll see if they can deliver next Friday.

Successfully ordered online 32gb @5amcst. unlimited data/text. took about a minute once connected. ATT

Quit Safari? Clear cookies? Maybe that could work. Not sure if the problem is just your computer or whatever site you're using.

What if they released the phone the exact moment it's announced? I wonder how many people would rush out of the auditorium where they are announcing it.

Man I need sleep... Starting to dream up stupid crap.
 
Earlier I had issues and thought it was because I use my employer's discount and have to use AT&T Premier about 2 hours ago. Just tried now through Apple and was able to get all the way through the process. Now if it arrives on the 14th I will be able to make my wife happy as that is her birthday and this will replace her 3GS! I'm hoping that my data and text plans remain the same with my discount. I selected the unlimited data and unlimited text, but they both show non-discounted pricing. I'm sure that they do that since not all discounts are created equally. Other than the errors and such earlier, I'm very pleased.
 
UK store now says 1-2 weeks for the 4S I'd have been interested in .. thought I'd be upset, but I'm not. I think I'll see how iOS5 rides on my 4 before doing anything this time around.

Ordered a 64GB white :) Question though - I had to upgrade one of my other lines for the 399 pricing. It made me select a data plan. Do i call ATT when I receive the phone to cancel the data plan now? or just take out the SIM before turning phone on, which won't activate the data plan?
 
Just ordered AT&T 64GB in black right from my 3GS. Took all of 5 minutes. Kept my unlimited data even though I don't probably need that much.
 
Successfully ordered my 32GB black AT&T via Apple's site! I was pleased to see my Unlimited data plan still available (I'm replacing a launch-day 3GS) but disappointed to not see the $5.00 texting plan. Oh well, iMessage and Google Voice will take care of that!!

Came very close to getting the 64GB, but I'm going to need some accessories... and I figure with iTunes Match I can just do some intelligent music management.

Is it 10/14 yet?

I have a FAN discount with at&t and checked out through their Premier store and I still have my $10/1000 text plan.

Though when I did try buying the phone through apple, it put my old $10/1000 text plan up in the cart by default and I didn't even have to select a texting plan. I would've completed the transaction through them, but I was unsure if buying through them would affect my FAN discount.

My discounted rates were shown in the at&t checkout but not in apples.
 
Planned on trying to order my son's 32GB iPhone (ATT) at 7am EST...woke up at 3.30am EST and figured "what the heck"...Apple store failed several times at different stages...at one point made it to check out....tried ATT, failed....back to ATT and sailed through at 4.42am EST...who needs sleep?
 
I had the same issues, but Verizon worked perfect. My wife and I both bought the 16Gb Black 4S, with estimated arrival on the 14th. Friday 10/14 cannot come quick enough. I ordered my case and screen protector yesterday, which should be in next week as well. Good luck to everyone trying to get on the sites.

got mine from verizon's website. any difference btween that and getting it from apple's? will i still be able to get applecare+?
