Any idea or guess on how much the pages, numbers and keynote apps will cost?
I mean, assuming this thing doesn't get jailbroken...

The videos are really slow and tend to freeze up for me, anyone put them on youtube?
Jobs said these will be $9.99 each when he unveiled the iPad.
i probably won't put any movies on the ipad if i get it. i think i'd use it more as a web browser, photo viewer and gaming device.

w00t!
Just got my Alienware M11x from Fedex while reading this thread and watching the videos. Enjoy your lame iPads.
Looks like numbers will be the first app I buy.
whats with that ladies shoes (on the left). her toes are like coming out of here. looks like she has a few sizes too large shoe.

The biggest concern I have about this device, ironically enough, is the user experience, especially the ergonomics of ACTUALLY HOLDING AND INTERACTING WITH THE DEVICE.
I think the ergonomics of actually using the device are not going be so good.
Like others have noted, it seems there are not many ways to easily hold the device and interact with it.
Look at these videos very closely.
Most of these videos have a bit of artificiality in them. Notice when they show close-ups of someone holding the iPad in one hand, the device barely moves except for an artificial, small, mechanical, repetitive, mimicking of being actually hand held.
I used to work in the TV commercial production industry, and I can tell you that the iPad in these videos is being artificially suspended by a device from behind while the person pretends to be actually holding the device in the lower left corner wit their left hand.
I still want an iPad, but I have my concerns.
My iPod touch is driven my my thumbs, which can glide over the entire multitouch area, whether portrait or landscape, while holding the device with 2 hands. Neither me, on anyone else except maybe Lebron James, will be able to "drive" this device easily with their thumbs, like one can do with iPhone/iPod Touch...
Exactly - hence the increasingly hilarious "putting your feet up on the coffee table/your desk" that is at the start of amost all the Guided Tour videos. When you get to the seventh or eighth example it starts to really reinforce that there is a pretty major usability limitation with the iPad.The biggest concern I have about this device, ironically enough, is the user experience, especially the ergonomics of ACTUALLY HOLDING AND INTERACTING WITH THE DEVICE.

Sure. We'll go with that explanation/argument.
These are great videos. The only one that elicited a 'WTF?' response would be the Videos, because I can't imagine someone sitting down and holding a tablet for 2 hours while watching a movie.
Overall, this looks like a gem of a device, and I will look into picking one up when the 2nd generation is released.
