Does anyone know how many GB's this will take up on my machine.

The system requirements call for 9 GB of free disk space.
But remember, those 9 GB probably also include several GB of replacement files for stuff that is currently in Tiger. Once you clean your old Tiger installation out, you may find that 9 GB footprint isn't actually as bad as it seems up front.

all of them!

$129.00 dollars is incredibly cheap for a FULL (ultimate) OS. Even if you are a student. Foo to you guys complaining about the price. Go buy Vista... oops sorry it costs more, so you can't afford that either. :D

you mean $10 it cost me to get Vista (ultimate full verson) is more than $129.00 you pay for an Upgrade of OSX. Wow my math skills must really suck because I do not see how 129 < 10

Righto.

Or OS X 10.1. You can't compare the price of a new OS to an antiquated one.

And anyone wanting to use Windows 3.11 should do so at their own risk. It has nowhere near the security of Windows XP or Vista.

anyone WANTING to use Windows 3.11 in 2007 needs to have their head examined!

With 300 new features in Leopard, how come nothing is mentioned regarding support/enhancements of the iPhone? There are a lot of people on these forums that are hanging their hat that Leopard is going to provide them with numerous enhancements to the iPhone.

Have I missed something?

Note sync through .Mac is the only thing I see listed out of the box. I've been using it since the latest seed and love it.

What the hell?????? An hour or two? This isn't VISTA!!

it has taken less than an hour everytime I've installed a seed either archiving and installing, updating or clean installing (although the timer initially said up to a couple hours initially) on PPC Dual G4 or C2D.

That box looks pretty sweet too! Does anyone think the Leopard DVD will be in a nice DVD case with a similar design on it?

Unfortunately Apple really seems to care about packaging...except when it comes to software it seems. I really hate having the big bulky cardboard box and those uber-cheap paper sleeves. :(

That's because Microsoft can't even give that crap away. :D

I'm not sure what to do... Should I go to the Apple Store and feel the hype, or should I pre-prder online? Hmm... Does anybody know if Leopard will be huge in Utah? If so, ca some Utah Mac fans say if they are going down.... I don't want to get down there and be the only one. I've only really cared about operating systems since I first heard of Leopard and said, "Huh, I could use that." I don't know. But, again can you Utah Mac fans just say if you are going to the Apple Store? (NOTE: You don't have to, but it would be appreciated if you would. ˆ'm not some psycho who will come to your house.):p
