Okay... I read up to post 21 and saw no mention of this so I will post, sorry if it is a repeat... Amazon is offering 10.5 for $109.00, which beats edu and regular pricing 🙂

I think that I've seen some screenshots of Leopard with grass desktops. Although, if Leopard doesn't come with grass, I'm sure some fan will post up all of the old desktop pics.

EDIT: If you were making a poke at Windows, then that's good. I thought that you were talking about the ladybug on the grass.

Grass will still be a desktop that it comes with it, but the space one will be the default.

Does anyone have/know where I can find the space background in the new screenshots? I know Leopard comes out in 10 days, but I want that background until then!

Also... I realized Apple adjust the Leopard price for Canadian stores according to the current exchange rate. Hopefully when the new MacBook comes out in November, it'll reflect the same thing. The current MB prices are still the old ones which are $100-$200 higher than the US prices. Just a wish... =)

Not if you choose "Archive and Install" option. It will rename the existing system folder and install a brand new one.

I'm pretty sure, but not 100%. When you do "archive and install" it copies the system settings from the other folder. Correct me if I'm wrong. I don't remember for sure.

Yah, I think you're right. The things it resets to default are probably necessary for initial system stability and experience. Which makes sense.
