That is definitely not true. I have items in my library that were put there because of Apple Music's iTunes Match feature that are not in Apple Music.Yet it went over your head. It’s included but only if Apple Music has it. Anything unique and not in Apple Music that u upload you need iTunes Match.
Thanks. Quite messy, but I guess I'll have to do the same. I am just terrorized of losing the data![]()
Nope, I got a refund for the most current payment of every service. Yearly: Arcade, Monthly: iCloud, Music, and News. Now that's cool. I wonder if the refunds are only for the annual subscriptions.
Cannot see anything yet, any trick?
Not working from App Store neither Settings 😢
Not true. You can upload unique music without Match to Apple Music. I do it often.Unless you have music not listed in Apple Music - then you still need iTunes Match at $24.99 a year. That will allow you a cloud based storage section w/in Apple Music to upload your 'unique' music to be available across your other devices

Yep, but no luck yet... Just today Apple Music got renewed, maybe that's reasonIt's in App Store --> Click on your avatar --> Subscriptions. That's how I found it.
Interesting. Are you on a non-beta of iOS 14? I’m on 14.2 beta, where it didn’t auto-cancel iCloud. Or maybe I missed something during the sign-up process. In the UK, it automatically refunded my 2TB iCloud Drive plan and I show 2TB in my iCloud settings now on Apple One.
In the same sort of boat. I bought a new Apple watch 6. It’s meant to come with 3 months free Apple fitness.Apple is offering Arcade for 3 months free now, and Apple TV is going to be free if you buy a new apple device, which is a wash. So in the end I pay 10 bucks for 2tb of storage and 10 bucks for music, so now i have to pay 30 for the same and get Fitness, which isnt here yet and apple news plus, which is not that great in my opinion
I love Apple and everything but this seems like a ploy to get people in the ecosystem without offering anything beneficial
If anything they should offer more storage for less money, as storage is key for most of us. They are already charging more for iCloud storage than most competition.
Is that a regional thing? Apple Music allows users to store tracks in iCloud Music Library DRM-free.Except with Apple Music you have to deal with DRM. That's the defining difference between the two and why folks like me keep both subscriptions running.
It will be refunded automatically. My Apple Music subscription renewed yesterday. Oh well...
I just signed up to the premier plan using my media purchases ID, separate from my iCloud ID (for iCloud storage). So they're really gonna bill $30 for premier when fitness+ doesn't exist yet?
Same here. I have unique tracks that are uploaded and shared across my devices. Never paid for iTunes Match. That is not true. I have uploaded several albums not offered on Apple Music and they are in my cloud library. I do not pay for Match.
Are those albums available in iTunes? That is not true. I have uploaded several albums not offered on Apple Music and they are in my cloud library. I do not pay for Match.
With iTunes Match you can upgrade your library to higher quality, non-DRM'd versions, that you can keep even after you cancel your Apple Music subscription. I don't think you can do this with a regular Apple Music subscription. Is that a regional thing? Apple Music allows users to store tracks in iCloud Music Library DRM-free.
How interesting!!! Cool!I will keep my eye out for this.
sharedFor the family plan is storage 200gb each or 200Gb shared between the family?
