Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_1_3 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7E18 Safari/528.16)
I got my 'renew MobileMe in 30 days' notice yesterday. I really don't think they'd be telling folks right now - " No need to re-up now, it'll be free next week!". Even if it were true, it'd ruin the surprise. I'm hoping refunds will be forthcoming. We'll find out soon...
No previous history of versions, probably?
The buyers guide reflects set product cycles. The iPad has none yet, its just expected to be updated yearly.
Plus, usually the store goes offline as soon as they announce the product... Not HOURS before the keynote... That was at least my observation of previous events...
That means they probably had a lot tweaking to do...
So from all this, it looks like (at least) pre-order capability will be available before the end of the week. Question is, with all the last minute talk about "don't expect the moon" and an even bigger iPad upgrade later this year, is this really the one to grab?
I mean, all I ever cared about or thought was despicably lacking was a front-facing camera. What else could they possibly add (besides a full retina display)?
t-bolt on this device is a game changer.. ( i think)
