Apple Outs "iPhone 4S" Name in Latest iTunes Beta

So others with the iTunes beta didn't find this info at all? So why are they claiming it was pulled?

Also, RadioShack shows the iPhone 5 in Sprint's inventory.

The iPhone 4 is an amazing device. Adding upgraded hardware with a major iOS upgrade is a huge improvement to the phone.

People demanding that they modify the exterior of a device that is already really well made does not make a lot of sense. It is change simply for the sake of wanting change. If they do only release an iPhone 4S it will be superior to the current iPhone 4 in all ways. The only thing it will not have is a new exterior look. Why that is that important to some people is beyond me, it certainly has almost nothing to do with the functionality of the phone.

but the point is: an iPhone 4 with a A5 and new camera and iOS 5, is that is all they are releasing on tuesday, it will be called an "iPhone 5"

since we can see that there is a device called "iPhone 4s" this means that there will be 2 phones: iPhone 5 and iPhone 4s

Yes, this is my 1st post...& I'm not putting a lot of stock into it myself, but I just got off the phone with Apple Tech Support because I toasted my 3GS (submurged in water). I was asking them what my options were for replacement. The tech laid out several options and then said "...but you might want to wait because the iPhone 5 is coming out soon". I asked her if it is really the "5" and not "4 something". She said "it is iPhone 5 and I can't tell you any more than that". So I pressed her a bit (does it have a larger screen, etc), but she said she honestly doesn't know any specifics other than it will be an iPhone 5.

We'll see.

So if it was the same device with a new exterior that would compel you to upgrade?

Can you see why some people find this logic, illogical?
 
considering how Apple has failed to keep their last several majors devices a complete secrete until launch, there is no reason to think they were suddenly able to keep a completely redesigned iphone secret too. How did people get leaks of the 4s components but not the 5? Its time for everyone to give up the fantasy of a 5, and accept reality.

I'm just checking it now for myself, but my understanding is that it is a hoax. Apple wouldn't be so stupid :D

Part of me hopes that this really is just a small upgrade; new processors, new camera, and thats it. Then maybe people will learn a lesson about all the click baiting and the tabloid style reporting that now dominates "news" outlets.

Please. I was referring to his condescending mention of "the lower classes". What in the hell is that supposed to mean? Are we in feudal England? And "the poor people"? It sounded like a kid who is pampered referring to anyone of lesser means as "the lower classes and poor people". It was condescending. You have a problem with me pointing that out and 13 people rating my comment up. Sorry about that?
 
The iPhone 4 is still the most badass phone out there. now an A5, IOS 5, better camera and more memory, what the **** is not to like? retards.

I also had a thought the other day, and with just seeing this article, it's made me think back to it:

If Assistant is going to be the MAIN feature of the new iPhone, and tradition points to the old model (in this case iPhone 4) moving to the $99 price point, receives the new iOS but no changes otherwise (aside from 8gb downgrade).

What if apple decided that Assistant is too big of a feature to only offer on the new phone? My thoughts are that they're going to have the brand new iPhone 5, new design, with ios5 featuring Assistant -- but ALSO move the iPhone 4 down to $99 with 8gb, AND make it a 4s, upgrade the internals so that it can support Assistant? (according to 9to5mac it's going to require a lot of processing power and more ram)
 
Why is this a bad thing? I it really makes sense... why sHIZ-can a great design just because people wanna see something different. They'll buy it. Hell, I'll buy it... 2 in fact (the missus needs one too).

For all we know she may just be presuming what most are, there's is an Apple event on Tuesday so there will be a new iPhone. This can't be considered evidence. Sorry.

Yeah... This is going to be the focus of the events. The significant hardware internal upgrades will be a part of it, but the overall package will be mainly focused on the software side.

It is pretty clear to see. The more I consider all this, I see no chance that two different unique iPhones are announced on Tuesday. There is no way Apple would do that. There is not enough differentation for them to exist at this point, so it is not going to happen. We will have a 4S device, which allows Apple to have superior production because the externals are essentially the same, and they can support the device with the software.

The software is what makes the phone useful anyways, so I think people who say that they will only buy a phone that has a redesigned exterior and do not care what the software changes or hardware changes are, should just be ignored. They seem to be off their hobby horses at this point.

iOS and hardware more important then external design. Especially when you have the foundation of when of the best designed consumer devices in the history of mankind.

As long as you pulled it up fast enough, and didnt **** it up afterwards heres what you do. 1 bag of rice. 1 iphone. Stir lightly. Rest! Water itself doesnt do much damage. As long as you turn it off, and let the rice pull the water out, you can bring most things back to life.

(oh and yeah, with rest i mean wait for like a week or so).
