Think so too. He states to be from Austin and his English sounds just like from a 15 year old teen learning English as a second language. It’s obviously not his mother tounge.

And about that picture from deutsche Bank Apple Pay. Deutsche Bank Card Plus is a MASTERCARD. Not a maestro. This is obviously a fake.

It is both a MasterCard and Maestro
 
Lets stay calm. Based on the info from Sunny, tomorrow will be a great day for us. If you doubt the info from a specific user, it will all be clear tomorrow. And if there is no new info tomorrow regarding Apple Pay, we still live another day.

The thing about information is you should be able to back up what you say. But this guy he did not really give any I formation. All he said were „guesses“. Nothing to back it up. And once again what he’s posting on Twitter you can easily recreate those screenshots just by changing your region settings and switch to a Apple Pay country. So far he did not give any plausible info. And still waiting for what he was praising about all day his deutsche Bank Screenshot or even video which he said he is in posses of. I’m not trying to hate or bitch on him but spreading information without having a background just makes people overly excited and if it turns out to be not true they will indeed hate in him.

Sunny’s information does at least sound somewhat plausible and he is not a newbie account like n4p84.

Actually I did not get the reason of telling fake rumors. Who does care? it is just Apple Pay.....Nothing special

And that's what rumors are... "a currently circulating story or report of uncertain or doubtful truth".
So no need to complain, if some people just doubt it's validity.
Especially in times of "fake news" and stuff.

Let's just all be nice to each other and wait what will happen tomorrow. ;)

I´m " burned", so to speak, after the story with Hans300, plain and simple.

If everything, what you said, turns out to be true tomorrow, I apologize. But I think you have to understand, that it's hard for me to decide, wether you're trustful oder not.

After Hans300 it´s difficult to trust a newbie like n4p84. Where is the other picture? I´m still waiting.

Of course you are right. That’s what rumors are. But this guy didn’t give any information. He just repeated some parts of what sunny told us and then added he doesn’t know it’s just a guess.

The screenshots he showed us obviously are bs you can easily recreate them. Noticed that between those two screenshots passed two minutes? Why do think is that? That’s about exactly the time it takes to change your region on the iPhone. Just fake.

Then he said in the evening he’ll show us Deutsche Bank Apple Pay. Now he announced he is not gonna show anything cause he does not have ****. Same goes for loads of other stuff he was talking on his Twitter.

Next check when Hans last signed in and when n4p84 created his account. Matches perfectly.

Then he says he lives in Austin, Tx. Yet his English is beyond the level of a 9 year old which tells me he is laying again. If you are 33 living in the US you should be able to make a full sentence without a mistake. He makes like theee mistakes each sentence. Check his Twitter.

Hans is from Frankfurt. N4p84 has a website in his twitter profile. M-nation.de

.de? Why? He lives in the US so how does this add up? I checked DENIC to see on whom the site is registered. The person lives in Ober-Ramstadt. Now guess what... it’s only a jump to Frankfurt where Hans is from.

If you want more just check his Instagram iemmix. Picture of him and the locations he has been to. Looking at that guy it from his looks it matches the name according to DENIC on whom the website is registered to. By looks I mean the name sounds Arabic or from the east and fits the way the guy looks. And again he is himself writing hashtags like #hessen under his photos which again supports what I said about him being Hans. Hans from Frankfurt, Frankfurt is in Hessen etc. This is another indicator for me that the guy who owns the above mentioned domain is n4p84 which proofs that he is lying about where he is from. And just about three days ago he was in Darmstadt which again is even closer to Frankfurt then Ober Ramstadt.

Now I can go on and on about this but in the end it adds all up to one point. This guy is Hans.

Why to tell rumors even if they are false? Because sunny made pretty clear that it is very likely that AP is gonna be announced today and Hans wants a share of Sunny’s “award”. Hans wants to be seen as a insider that knows stuff we don’t. Just trying to be important. That’s all.

What if I said Apple Pay is gonna launch today 100 % in Germany, Netherlands, Austria and Poland. It’s that simple to create a rumor but I cannot back up at thing I just said. Same with Hans and n4p84.

Just for the .de domain: I bought my domain ".de" just when I was living in the US for 2 years in 1999. my reason was, that i was supposed to go back, as it was a company exchange and secondly to have my own last name as a domain name (and hey, my roots are German, why not take a German domain? ;-) ).
But this should not interfere your other words. I am not that long at macrumors to even know what case of "Hans" you are talking of. I was only searching for some informations about Apple Pay in Germany to have my normal credit cards in AP instead of boon through Ireland. And I don't care at all if this freaking "Girocard" will come or not "hehe". I do see a lot of shops change to not care about credit cards anymore, as the charges are not that high anymore. I think a lot of shops will change their habit in the next few years.
I like the reports of a German bakery somewhere in Berlin who asks their customers to not pay cash if possible. Why? Hey he does not have to carry the money back to the Bank each night with the risc to get robbed.
Ok, I hope I did not make too much mistakes, otherwise blame it on Apple who changed my word to something else

Interesting! I was thinking about a bigger UI overhaul coming to their app at first but reading that text in the context of this thread it actually does sound a lot as if they may be talking about support for Apple Pay to launch “in a couple of weeks”..! :)

I don’t think that this is what this update was about. 1. N26 already has working Apple Pay in France and Italy. 2. Android did receive this update as well which does not make sense if it is supposed to bring some Apple Pay features for Germany. Some time ago in Twitter N26 said it’s all about when Apple launches Apple Pay in Germany. All it needs for N26 is yo flip that switch and we are good to go.

I think the press release is starting 22:30 german time.
I read that the announcement of the earnings will be done after the closing bell from NYSE. So 22:30 is 16:30 EST and NYSE closes at 16:00.
