How do I activate my cards?
Worked when I restarted my phone this morning
How do I activate my cards?
Like MMS on a smart phone? Wonder how many people switched to Android over that…..That's the British humour you Americans still don't seem to get! Or if you're not American just uptight!
Banks aren't for life anymore and actually in the UK, Nationwide are a building society with more benefits for customers. So yes actually, we can be fickle with our banks, when a multi-trillion pound institution can't offer us something we want in line with it's competitors.
Yes, I think it is limited to 3 devices though, so that means 1 iPhone each, and someone gets the use of an Apple watch or iPad.Quick question:
Can you have 1 card registered to multiple devices?
Eg. A joint account debit card that the wife & I both use?
My girlfriend and I share a NatWest current account with our own separate cards, both Visa debit cards. Hers is purple and contactless and mine is blue and non-contactless. Only hers can be added to Apple Pay. NatWest are denying that only contactless cards work but in my case that seems true. It's certainly not account based, it's the same account.
I'm guessing my RBS card wont work because it's not contactless then.
After Halifax were included in the list of launch day banks, it seems that they've not made it. I just read that they're aiming for "autumn". Hoping that's wrong and they'll get going at some point today...
***EDIT***
It seems it's not an error. Apple's UK website now lists banks which are in the scheme and which are "coming soon".

I've added my Natwest non-contactless card and all seems to be working fine.
No idea why it doesn't work then lol, gotta admit I am disappointed... I've wanted Apple Pay ever since it was announced.
I noticed that Passbook doesn't seem to be automatically registering the correct expiry date. Double check that's not an issued when trying to register your card. Also the title of the card holder maybe miss-spelt.No idea why it doesn't work then lol, gotta admit I am disappointed... I've wanted Apple Pay ever since it was announced.

Sweet! That's perfect, I have the 6+ and watch, and she's has the 5S and will be getting a watch soon.Yes, I think it is limited to 3 devices though, so that means 1 iPhone each, and someone gets the use of an Apple watch or iPad.

HSBC tweet yesterday saying it launches tomorrow, and today they change their tune saying they will launch late July! After Halifax were included in the list of launch day banks, it seems that they've not made it. I'm given them till the end of the month to make some sort of announcement on their position else I will look to move elsewhere.... the silence at the moment is deafening!Really hoping we get some sort of word from Barclays today. They're the only significant U.K. bank which isn't supporting Apple Pay. Didn't MacRumors run a story about a possible launch from them later this week?
Just added my AMEX card on the UK region setting so all is good - all easy. Look forward to using it. Will need a secondary card though, as not everyone accepts Amex.
