My new RBS card arrived just now, added and verified with Apple Pay within minutes! Not got my PIN number yet, wonder if it will still work.. I know sometimes you need to use your PIN once to activate contactless pay.
Is there anyway you can see the RBS card online? You might be able to view the pin - I can for my MBNA and Amex cards.

It's been setup for online/digital banking since I opened it but I can't see the pin. Account was opened on Tuesday and card arrived today.

Has anyone been able to make a payment of over £20? I understood ( and I could be wrong ) that certain retailers are accepting payments by Apple Pay for amounts over £20.

Apparently you can do it in Apple Stores (surprise, surprise) up to £15k!

Those having problems with new contactless cards, remember you have to do one chip and pin transaction first before contactless functionality is enabled.

Finally used Apple pay on my watch at the Co-op, worked a treat.

I've successfully used Apple Pay in M&S and Boots. But the three times I've tried it now in my local Co-Op, I've had a security check each time and had to use my Amex card. Same thing happened the one time I tried to use it in McDonalds too.

OK, Tesco won't allow contactless payment on transactions larger than £20 (although £30 wasn't tested), my bill came to £60 and I couldn't select contactless payment as an option.

I think that Waitrose have not yet removed the £20 limit. The checkout staff know nothing about Apple Pay....they ask what I am doing when I hold my watch near the terminal!

I've worried that it looks like I'm not paying for stuff at self service tills.:)

The staff in my Waitrose knew about it and knew what to do. I'll be doing a big shop in Waitrose tomorrow so will let you know what happens.

Used :apple:Pay for 4 days now - no problems what so ever - starting to feel more confident about leaving debit card at home - Used in McDonalds, KFC, Lidl, Greggs and Superdrug and it is so quick

Has anyone had any luck with waitrose yet? I've seen a few posts confirming it didn't work... I've now tried three times. Every time watch/phone confirm payment has been done but the self service checkout doesn't register payment :( the payments show in passbook as the most recent transaction but aren't showing on credit card statement...

Yes, I have used my watch several times in Waitrose - at least four or five times. The first time the payment registered on the terminal but the receipt would not print as it kept asking me to remove my card. The supervisor told me it was OK and I had paid. Since that first attempt, all future ones have gone through perfectly and the receipt printed.
I can see the payments in passbook and they are showing on my AMEX card statement online.

When I've used my iPhone on tfl the touch in and touch out times are recorded in the passbook app under my bank card. Yesterday I used my watch on tfl and it doesn't seem to record anything anywhere, is this right? Also despite touching in and out at 4 different stations and going through 2 sets of barriers, I got an incomplete journey notification with only one of this four stations recorded. Anyone else had this experience with the watch?

I've found that the charged amount shows up in the passbook app if I use Apple Pay on my phone, if I use my watch then nothing shows up anywhere.
Is everyone else finding this to be the case?

This has been discussed previously and in other Apple Watch UK threads. It depends on your bank whether or not transactions are shown for BOTH devices in the iPhone passbook app of if they only show iPhone transactions. The reason for this is that you have to activate both devices, they both have a different device ID, so the bank needs to support them both and merge them into one feed on your iPhone (I imagine the watch Passbook app doesn't support transaction history at all).

I believe it works for Amex users but not Santander etc.

I absolutely love Apple Pay!

I've used it in the Co-op, KFC and Costa so far. Oh, and at Hollywood Bowl. I was pretty shocked it worked there if I'm honest, seems like it works with a majority of contactless card terminals.

I have found that everywhere I have used it, the cashier hasn't had a clue whether they accept Apple Pay or not and I get a funny look when holding my phone to the terminal, followed by an "Oh wow what the hell was that" look
