My Citibank card was accepted, but I'm having issues with verification. I've tried to have them text me and call me, neither of which is happening.

Try email. Their system is probably being overloaded right now. haha.

You know what I'd love...to be able to use your this at an ATM instead of having to use your card for withdrawals/deposits. That would be amazing.

So I guess it will work on any NFC reader? I'm assuming this vending company isn't on any Apple pay list...

Yup. The vending machine is some small company with after-market credit card readers installed, with NFC chip support.

As far as card selection, you just click the one you want to use which brings it into "full view" with a list of recent transactions. Then just hold it up to the NFC symbol and you'll see the TouchID Fingerprint option appear out of the blue. You then put your thumb to it and boom...the credit card reader clicked, read "**** TOKEN SENDING..", then said "Transaction approved. Please select option." Then selected the Diet Coke, and once the machine processed the transaction, it showed up almost immediately on my iPhone under "recent transactions" below the card.

This was on a Blue Cash Amex. I am not sure if all cards support recent transactions summary.

Does anyone else have a Chase Mastercard CC? I have one (the IHG card) and it is apparently not supported by Apple Pay.

Anyone know if Chase has made a comment on this and whether or not it will be coming in the future?

Ooohhhh...ahhhhhh. ;)

Did it give you the option to switch cards? I'm curious how this will work.

All 3 cards appeared "stacked".. I just selected the one I wanted by tapping the tip of it, and it comes to the front with a list of recent transactions. At this point, you just hold it to the NFC reader and the "Press TouchID" option appears. Once you do that, it approves the transaction (or in the case of the vending machine, "authorized" the transaction so I could purchase items from the machine).

I went to a CVS (not an Apple Pay partner, but they do include NFC in nearly all their US locations nowadays) this afternoon, and bought some Raisinets. The was the exact process for me as well (also using an AmEx). It was beautifully simple. I can see this catching on--especially if they find a way to include my CVS card in the transaction so I don't need to reach for my wallet.

In total, my Amex Blue Sky credit card and my Capital One 360 Debit card were both added with no fuss or muss. I have a Discover too, but I am pretty sure that won't work because Discover isn't participating for some unknowable reason.

They have text, call me, and call them. Calling them requires me to speak to an agent, which I don't really have time to wait on hold for right now. Not a big deal. I can wait until their system catches up. My main cards are USAA anyway, so I'll be waiting until Nov. 7 before regularly using Apple Pay anyway, and my Capital One account is verified (they smartly allowed doing it through their app.) so I can try it out with that until later.

My Chase Amazon Visa is the only card I use so I'm disappointed.

Would this be Amazon's decision on any level? I figured it was Chase so I'd be good. Bah.

Me too! Apple lists Chase Visa as one of their cards, but it appears Amazon has not bought in ... Apple should be more explicit in their listings. Apparently you have to have the credit card company, the bank, and the sponsor all on board or it's not accepted.

Bottom line, I'd use the service (I bought the phone because of it), but none of my cards work.

That's because no one accepts or use Discover.

I kid I kid... but no seriously...

So I added my Chase Debit card and immediately went to Walgreens to try it out. It wasn't as quick of a process as I had hoped. But Walgreens might not have been the best place to first try it out as you still have to go through a lot of steps.

After they scanned my items I still had to enter my phone number for rewards first. Then I held my phone up to the terminal and the Scan Fingerprint to Pay text came up (I was already in the passbook app so I didn't test from outside like the home or lock screen). It seems Touch ID is a bit more secure as I had to try and scan my fingerprint 5 times before it finally went through. Then the terminal asked for my PIN number. I guess since I used a debit card I still have to enter a PIN number. I entered it into the terminal, confirmed the purchase, and then I was done.

It seems like the only step you really save is the pulling out your wallet, taking out your card, and then swiping it. Of course stores and cards may vary in the steps. But it worked!

My Barclays Mastercars Credit Card and Flex Plan card were not supported. Even though Barclays is suppose to be supported my card is an old Juniper account before they were bought by Barclays so that may be why it is not supported. Time to upgrade to a new credit card.

Artep..Is this confirmed through Chase?

For those outside the United States, can you verify that you do NOT see any ApplePay settings at all?

I got my chase, capital one activated very easily but bank of america is a bit more complicated (it needs to be activated by calling an 800-number)

Both my BofA cards worked without calling - debit and credit. Or did you get that message when trying to use Apple Pay?

All three of my cards worked like a charm..and i am not even in the States right now!!!! man i did get a warm and tingly feeling while doing the passbook process...

Barclaycard is listed as later this year on Apple's site. My barclaycard didn't work either.

Barclay sent out an email back on 10/7 stating that they would be ready for Apple Pay later this fall. So those with Barclay, stay tuned.

Ah yes, had to go back and read the e-mail again....

Apple Pay using the new iPhone 6® or iPhone 6 Plus will be ready for your
Barclaycard Financing Visa® Card later this Fall.

:eek::(

Worked!

One of our new 'healthy' junk food machines had the nfc logo, so for grins I tried it. Kind of awkward because I have a wallet case, have to open the flap to get to the Touch ID sensor. But it beeped, I selected the food, and I got my chips I'm easily amused :)

Apple Pay requires TouchID (and NFC for in-store payments). Neither of which the older iPads have.

Thought I saw a list for older iPads (with 8.1 update) and even Mac computers (with Yosemite) to use Apple Pay for online shopping. Am I wrong?
