The clip showed a bunch of lonely, isolated people that even have their earphones plugged in in places where they should rather listen to the nature around them.
Simple, colorful, engaging and cultured ads. Excellent job. Much better than the ones from other companies taking jabs and cheap shots at their competitors.
Also, I'm assuming some of these shots might be from other countries, which is if it is, is a nice touch too.
Both ads in the campaign focus on people actually using the phone, rather than just the phone itself.
Why does one thing has to rule the other out? If you see someone do one thing in public does that mean you make the conclusion that person always only does that in public?
I also reacted to the general age of people in the ad. One can use an Iphone and listen to music after 25 too, you know. But I guess Apple has specific targets in mind with these adds.
And I'm sure someone like you could dig up some "interesting" mobile phone product release for last month when the Photo Ad of the campaign was relased...
Can't believe they had the shower scene! My 4S now has no WiFi due to a white water sensor in the headphone jack from 'probably leaving it in the bathroom while taking a shower' according to the "Genius". I still think it was due to my updating to iOS 6.1.3, but that's a topic for another thread...
When did it become THE iPhone? I am so annoyed when Apple refers to it as iPhone, as if that we're its name. Glad to see them switch to calling it THE iPhone - like the rest of the world.
because it's the new model, so its "the" iPhone. just like the new iPad is "the" iPad.
Also, for an add which highlights the musical features or 'iPod-ness' of the iPhone, would it kill them to actually show a Touch or a Shuffle in these commercials?
Does anyone 'enjoy' music on their iphone with the standard headphones?
