Status has updated as Departure from Hong Kong but I really believe that it is in Alaska right now because it would be too late right now to be able to ship everywhere in the US for Tuesday. Also... there are no flights scheduled so far for UPS from Hong Kong for today.
Totally agree with you, and I saw UPS Flight 61 and 63 land in Louisville Intl. about 10 minutes apart so I think our phones are on one of those planes. Used flightaware. Once again this is all pure speculation. Good luck!
You know, I was telling my girlfriend today about where the flights were thanks to you guys tracking where they are. She asked me why such a service existed, and I told her to make sure family/friends arrive safely and on time, and for crazy people like us haha.
I still think its possible they could arrive tomorrow. UPS's calculator says that shipments from Shenzhen will arrive Tuesday by 10:30am, but it says the cutoff for that service is 11:30am tomorrow... Seems like that isn't possible really.
Yes this is what I was starting to worry about. I really am hoping to get mine on Tuesday.
When I ran the numbers through the UPS calculator, it kept giving me the same results (Tuesday by 10:30) no matter what date I chose, unless I went later than 2/7. That's the thing to me.
Id' say maybe they're just going to combine all shipments and send them out all at once, but it's not like the iPhone is the only item that UPS will ship out. The way I see it, if I get it tomorrow that's awesome. If not, I'll have it the next day. Hell I've had every iPhone so far, I'm just finally glad it will be on a network that has a lot better coverage at my work.
This is eerily similar to what went down with the stupid iPad cases I ordered. Guess we'll see what happens.

I stood in line to get my 3G; haven't had one since. Couldn't take not being able to make calls and switched back last year.
Anyway, I just thought it through and plugged data in for shipping NEXT Friday. Says it would arrive Monday if shipped before noon. It seems like it didn't make that, so Tuesday it is.
I'm curious now, what happened to your iPad case? And when was it delivered or supposed to be delivered? Thank you!
Tuesday isn't so bad. Sunday is almost over, then tomorrow will go by quickly since its the first day of the week. Then Tuesday is here and you'll have it by 1030am.
Has anyone tried changing their shipping address through UPS? I went on the tracking page and it has a tab for you to select so you can change shipping information. But once you click on it it only tells you that you can do it, there is no actual button to select to change the address of the shipping info.
Anyone else know of the best way to change the address? I tried calling some number off their website, but it wasn't even close to what I needed. Thanks

I say this because on my UPS Tracking Info it says departed [Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong 02/07/2011 1:30 A.M. Departure Scan] and the time that the flight took off is really close to when the cargo was scanned. If this isn't the plane I give up on trying to figure this stuff out haha.
Pretty cool, about one more hour until it arrives in Alaska. They should ship out from there in the early morning hours and then hopefully to their final destinations late Monday.
As posted above, I guess our phones are on UPS59. I have no idea how they're going to be able to make it to all of our locations after first going to Louisville, KY and then either driving or flying to other major places and then from there going to respective towns and on the truck for delivery in the morning... but then again, I don't work for UPS. If they can do all this, then I'll be even more impressed with their service.
