Neither are as bad as being seen wearing one in public.I'm not sure what's worse: risking getting your $3500 headset damaged or stolen in the post or painting a target on your back by buying it from a store.

Same for me it was interesting at first but I have no practical use for it personally. Maybe if I lived alone rather than with my wife it would be fun to play for one but this thing does not improve face to face relationships ect. I can do everything on my ipad, macbook and iphone I need to do.This may be the first Apple product that I have 0 interest in since the first iPhone...what a waste
Just cannot justify cost and as time goes on I am unable to justify or find a personal use.I'm sure you're not alone.
I personally am interested in it but can't afford it. Hoping to be able to get one someday.
The first Macintosh cost about $7000 after adjusting for inflation.Unaffordable to 80% of the market with limited use options.
Good idea.
I don't think these are meant to be worn in public, aside from maybe on a plane. But your comment reminds me of all the folks who made fun of the original AirPods saying they looked ridiculous and nobody would wear them in public.Neither are as bad as being seen wearing one in public.
You don't leave home for Dr. appts? What about for disabled people who can't get to/in a store? Isn't this one of the main use cases and interests of the device? If your product needs me to come in and test drive it, I don't want it.
Oh also it sounds like creating an atmosphere for high-pressure sales. For example, what if the person were to get it delivered at home, put it on, and not like it? In the store there will be that friendly team member to explain how great it really is...
Got a Mac? Your entire Mac can run on it, too. So no shortage of apps.
It's an entirely new category for most people. I suggest not judging it too early. Apple took their time to do a Mixed-Reality headset better than anything on the market.
Is the high price influencing your position? If it was $400, would you feel differently? Given the incredible technology built in, they are probably losing money on the first several thousands of units sold. It's a long-term vision (pun intended).
Anyone who wears Vision Pro outside their home will look like a complete douchebag. They’ll look like it inside their home too but at least no one else has to see it.I don't think these are meant to be worn in public, aside from maybe on a plane. I want to use as desktop so I think this is a very salient issue. Two big problems…single user on a device with a price of of a laptop and limited to iPad apps not the full MacOS range of apps. That was the basis for my original excitement. But I think this will be more of an iPad experience than a Mac experience. As such, it will have limited utility as a laptop/desktop alternative, which is ironically where I think much of its potential lies.
I am going to wear it while driving a Cybertruck (but not for 5 years since I didn’t sign up early).Anyone who wears Vision Pro outside their home will look like a complete douchebag. They’ll look like it inside their home too but at least no one else has to see it.

Or a new vehicle. Someone put the first 11 miles on it and it wasn’t me!I guess you never bought prescription multi focal glasses? 😏
Wait, you’re saying you had no interest in the first iPhone? 🤔This may be the first Apple product that I have 0 interest in since the first iPhone...what a waste
