No unauthorised access did occur. Are you unaware that unauthorized access to a computer system is illegal? Seems like common knowledge to me.
They hacked private servers in order to make money off of Apple’s storage and bandwidth.

How would you do it without an AppleID?He can unregister it manually from Apple's website. It's pretty straightforward and immediate.
thank you for your service in keeping our halls safe 🫡Yeah, well, I don’t think it’s childish to not want to see prices for Apple services go up because Apple is expected to support companies freeloading off their servers.
If Apple lets this slide, a precedent is set. Every Tom, Dick, and Harry will be making iMessage clones, and every Android user in the world will be hammering Apple servers. That’s a massive cost that will get passed on to actual Apple customers. Hope you like paying $4.99 a month for Messages+.
That’s obviously not true. Why would you say that?No unauthorised access did occur.

That's cute.I feel iOS is subpar for my use case except for iMessage. Android is even better once Apple implements RCS.
I did try to warn people not to use a knock-off app to access imessage for a subpar OS.He can unregister it manually from Apple's website. It's pretty straightforward and immediate.
Only need your phone number: https://selfsolve.apple.com/deregister-imessage/How would you do it without an AppleID?
Here is my explanationThat’s obviously not true. Why would you say that?
What's so cute about personal preference? You prefer iOS. I prefer Android. Do you really feel such contempt for Android users? That's cute.

I do hope in the future should this pop back up, that both this epic failure of 3 days (LMAO) and whatever that other company that literally got hacked deter people from using shady means to get access to something.
As i said in a post before, this is PRECISELY why android has the reputation it has of being a cheap OS to pirate on.
Also, this is one of the few times Android users actually PAID for an app so paid apps adoption rates are not as high as on IOS...
And it is not that difficult to understand that (Especially on an IOS enthusiasts site) there are people who truly prefer IOS over Android and find Android subpar. For me, yes. It's not that difficult to understand that there are people who truly prefer Android (Samsung) over iPhone.
It's not billions. Not to sound elitist, but considering the bulk of Android phones sold are in fact budget, Androdi's adoption is more of a need and inability to buy an iPhone. Budget androids outsell high end androids AND iPhones altogether. The 259 million Samsung phones sold certainly were not led by the Galaxy S23 family....it was most definitely from their A Line. There are also billions of Android users who can't stand iPhone like I am. But we also like to have high quality images and videos when texting with iPhone users. I am glad that Apple is bringing RCS because of regulatory pressure and not because Apple is being generous to non-iPhone users.
Of course they did. They gained unauthorized access to a computer system. No they didn’t
Well, this thread is about beeper mini which works completely differently and doesn’t require an AppleID.Here is my explanation
https://forums.macrumors.com/thread...age-for-android-feature.2413215/post-32778125
Essentially, with Beeper you simply use a legitimately created AppleID to access iMessage. Nothing is hacked, nothing is illegal. Beeper is just a client for Android that allows you to access iMessage using your AppleID, just like you would on an iPhone.
Well yeh, that's what happens when you're stupid enough to describe in a blog, your EXACT technique in circumnavigating the Apple ID. 🤨🙄🤦♂️That was fast
It is a US thing. For some reason, it is considered being a ”superior” human being.why does anyone care about a blue bubble??? I miss why this is an issue...
I prefer Windows Phone which was significantly better at the time than Android and even IOS. Shame about the lack of apps but I do enjoy IOS.What's so cute about personal preference? You prefer iOS. I prefer Android. Do you really feel such contempt for Android users?
I very much prefer my S22 Ultra over the iPhone 15 Pro Max. I actually do understand that there billions of people who prefer iPhone over Android and nothing against that. In your opinion, Android is an abysmal OS. In my opinion, I find iOS cumbersome and too restrictive. And it is not that difficult to understand that (Especially on an IOS enthusiasts site) there are people who truly prefer IOS over Android and find Android subpar.

I'll give credit where credit is due though.
Android is an abysmal OS. Truly terrible and I rather swallow or walk on broken glass before i ever use it full time.
But i do applaud Samsung for their A line. It is more appealing than the pixel base and most others in that price point.
The pride cometh before the fall as they say.Well yeh, that's what happens when you're stupid enough to describe in a blog, your EXACT technique in circumnavigating the Apple ID. 🤨🙄🤦♂️
It's not even a US thing lol.It is a US thing. For some reason, it is considered being a ”superior” human being.
In Europe, people using SMS are seen as troglodytes. Yes, in Europe, most people think of iMessages as SMS, nothing more.
And as I said before, that's cute. My Samsung 22 ultra is terrible lol. Good enough for Android.I very much prefer my S22 Ultra over the iPhone 15 Pro Max. I actually do understand that there billions of people who prefer iPhone over Android and nothing against that. In your opinion, Android is an abysmal OS. I am glad that Apple will adopt RCS, which should help with the deficiency of SMS/MMS.I prefer Windows Phone which was significantly better at the time than Android and even IOS. Shame about the lack of apps but I do enjoy IOS.
I don't have contempt for Android users. You can choose to use whatever your money buys. The smugness is a bit hypocritical but expected.
From my past on Android and in the present from conversing with you (And other android fanatics), I have made an interesting observation.
Much like Microsoft vs Google (IE/Edge vs Chrome) now Apple vs Google (IOS vs Android)...Google fanataics have this weird obsession with taking down the BIG BAD GUY.
In this case, right now it is "Apple is bad for not bringing Imessage and facetime because Google is incapable of creating anything good" and praising the EU for overstepping and Beeper for their shady ways.
You should see the guys on the beeper sub reddit on reddit
Despite the poor battery life of the S22 Ultra, I still prefer it over the iPhone, and I have tried the 15PM. I skipped the S23 Ultra will definitely upgrade to the S24 Ultra or maybe the Z Fold 6 if it has a better outer screen aspect ratio. I have zero loyalty or being a simp to any particular companies. I am writing this on a MacBook Air M2, because there's simply no better laptop with this kind of battery life and performance and no fan. I also use Samsung Galaxy Tab S9, S9 Ultra, and iPad Pro 11 M1 and an Apple Watch synced to my work's iPhone. I also use Windows as my main desktop computer and a spare Windows laptop. And as I said before, that's cute. My Samsung 22 ultra is terrible lol. Good enough for Android.
If it cuts down on the whining from Android users, I am glad as well. As long as it doesn't affect my iMessage/iMessage stays apple we are good.I am glad that Apple will adopt RCS, which should help with the deficiency of SMS/MMS.

Beeper Mini is exactly the app that uses and requires a AppleID (not necessarily a mail address. A phone number suffices).Well, this thread is about beeper mini which works completely differently and doesn’t require an AppleID.
A phone number is not an AppleID. This explanation makes no sense.Beeper Mini is exactly the app that uses and requires a AppleID (not necessarily a mail address. A phone number suffices).

And don't be confused if they write: "No AppleID required". At a minimum, you'll need to register with your phone number, which is a form of AppleID. But you never pass this AppleID on to Beeper. It is only used to authenticate with Apple and send/receive messages.
