Apple refunding $$ for ALL Bumper purchases, beginning today

I just got my iPhone 4 today and was wondering how to get in on the free bumper deal? When and where can I get the free bumper?? How do they verify you if you didn't buy a bumper but have the 4?
 
I have my receipt in hand and payed cash. All I want to know is when I can go to the Apple store and get a refund. ?!?!
 
The one negative to the free bumper program is that there are actually people that think you HAVE to use one to enjoy the phone. Which of course is not true, but they either don't get it, or don't care and just like to sling mud on Apple.

I've been using my phone naked, with a case, with a bumper and everything in between and it has worked flawlessly, 100% as a phone.

I have a bumber that somebody else got for me as a gift. They do not have an iPhone or apple account.

I wonder how I will get them refund. I do have their receipt. It was not emailed to them.
 
I ordered two bumpers (one for me and one for my husband) a couple of weeks ago using an Apple Gift Card that our sons bought me for my birthday. Has anyone heard how Apple Gift Card purchases will be refunded?

This is a very good point. The phone should work without the bumper case, and if it doesn't maybe the phone should of had a rubber bumper case built around it from the factory. Or maybe the phone should of been tested more before producing a million of them... Apple got greedy and didn't have time to make the phone right from the start, they just wanted phones on shelves and people buying them up A.S.A.P...

Wow that is impressive it works as a phone to without any extra devices or cases? really? Damn Iphone 4 does sound awesome.

yeah too bad 4g doesnt even work hardly anywhere in the US and you have to pay extra for the 4G even if you dont get it in your area. and who the **ck says buttplugging. grow up

it's still half the price for unlimited and you get to use a better phone :) a phone that doesn't limit you and continue to try and bleed you for cash when the battery goes poo poo.

i had my original iphone for like two years and nothing ever happened to the battery. i dont know where your getting all this battery nonsense from. and my sisters verizon plan back in the day with some crappy lg was like 90 dollars so idk wtf your talking about
 
This auto refund seems dumb. What if somebody bought all 6 (and I know some people on MR have bought 4+). They get them all for free?

Apple's too cheap for that.

they'll probably have a way to monitor that each person only gets one refund or case, idk how they're going to but i dont think its as simple as bring your case and get a refund\

and whoever bought 4+ bumpers thats just retarded
 
No trolling.. Just because everything isn't perfect doesn't mean people are trolling. Apple and ATT are very crooked... 10 class action lawsuits don't happen for no reason.

Love my iP4. Bought 2 bumpers from Apple online. A refund for one would be fine. ;)
 
I have a hard time believing that they are just going to refund CC that purchased a bumper without any verification. So, if I have 3 different CC, I can go purchase 3 bumpers and get a refund? /doubt
