This shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone as Jon Prosser literally told everyone the week it was coming out via a press release.
Bah. And that might be the case considering the update from the the 2018 11" Pro to the 2020 was just incremental at best, unlocking an extra core and doubling the base storage. They sure would. Remember the 3rd gen. iPad? Not too many do (except those who bought one). The 4th gen. was released a few months later.
Would Apple really release an updated iPad Pro model 5-6 months after the recent one, and not even 2 weeks after I bought it? Boo.
entry level ipad and ipad air per Jon Prosser.
Will this Watch be based on a new design or is just an updated Series 4/5?
Same boat. To me, the cost vs feature ratio wasn't enough to sway me. I'm 100% on board for a new phone this year (iPhone 6s+), so a new watch would be a nice compliment.Might finally buy a watch this year. Been thinking about since version 1 lol

I would be super surprised if Apple updated iPad Pros after their recent refresh in the spring...
Up yours and thanks for the green, iPad Pro 2020 buyers.
Those were what I was leaning towards as well, considering the 7th gen iPad is approaching a year and the Air and mini are nearly 18 months. Plus I don't want a Pro update anytime soon as I just bought one! This will be the new entry level iPad or iPad Air, not the iPad Pro.
At least that’s my guess.
Why not?! They are going to rock Christmas 2020 seeing as this year has been a total write off. Hang on for the awesome ride, shareholders!Would Apple really release an updated iPad Pro model 5-6 months after the recent one, and not even 2 weeks after I bought it? Boo.
I would buy one of those in a heartbeat, no questions asked.iPad mini Pro by any chance?
I don't necessarily desire the Pro features in the mini, I just would love to have the mini size in the same form factor and design language as the Pro.I would not be at all surprised if the largest volume buyers of the iPad Mini are enterprise customers who use them "in the field". As such, not sure they need "Pro" features so I am skeptical the market among consumers is large enough to justify such a model.
