Hey, don't worry. You're not alone. Mine won't arrive until the 2nd. It's driving me nuts! I can't wait for it! Though, seeing as I've waited a year and a half for one, I suppose a few more days will be okay.
mine shipped today and is getting to CA by Wednesday too (Nov 2 Shanghai time, Nov 1 US Time. Fedex shipped 30th Shanghai time, 29th US Time). Did you pay extra for saturday shipping?

Give Fedx a call they should be able to narrow down where it is and if it will make it for noon tomorrow.
This thing is FAST!, Airport still an issue for me so i'm guessing my B router is to blame which is why i've gone ethernet exclusively. Trying to measure temps but i dont think the Core Duo Temp utility is accurate. Its saying the processors are running at 2.33GHz standard all the time yet im only using 3% of my processing power (i thought these processors throttled?). Measured temp so far is 54C and i have quicktime, itunes, safari, yahoo & MSN messengers running.
aw man, they pushed back my estimated delivery date to nov. 2. i always have the worst luck with fedex. that sucks.

First off, I love FedEx. I wasn't home at 9:29 am when they tried to deliver it (first not that it's 2 days early...), so I get home at 2:28 p.m., and within 5 minutes, the doorbell rings. FedEx again. The driver said he was driving in the area on his way back and figured he would try again... I'm a lucky bitch, because he saved me an hour's drive to the hub to pick it up tonight...
So FedEx rocks.
And I'll be opening the box now, so farewell for awhile!
For those wondering, it's a 2.33 120GB 2G 256vram matte... shanghai on the 27th to anchorage and then Indianapolis on the 28th to Chicago at 5 a.m. today at at my door 4.5 hours later (if only I had been there to get it then...)
Still... pretty damn impressive. that means just over 6 days exactly from my order from "Submit Order" to door.

When you say you expect them to arrive on wednesday you mean at your home or at your local TNT and then 1 more day until it gets to your home?
My ETA at Apple website is 10/06, at first it was 10/02 but then it changed to 06

Bummer. I wanted to use mine on the porch outside, but I guess the FCC police will pwnz0r me if I try that. Oh noes!
