Mine is "Held at Sort Facility" in Indianapolis. Looks like no MBP for me today. Tomorrow... I have my fingers crossed.
Mine is at Sort Desk Facility, too, but it doesn't say "held." I have to wait 2 more hours before I can CALL the FedEx Int'l tracking line to fully confirm wtf is going on. Yeah. I'm obsessed.

Damn²
just got a call from TNT that they can't deliver my MBP cause I wasn't at home.
And because of the german holiday tomorrow the delivery will be at thursday, now to my working place.
So now, lots of MBP-deliverys will be before mine, although mine was before yours.

why didn't you work from home then? ;)

Any 17 inchers out there?

To judge by this forum 99% of the C2D buyers have gone for the 15" model. Can that be true? Or is it just that the 17" models are so behind on delivery dates that nobody's posting yet? I ordered mine (17" 2.33GHz 3GB RAM 160GB HD Glossy) within 5 minutes of the the Apple Store site being updated on the 24th. Shipping date 7 Nov, ETA 14 Nov. Is this typical for Australia?

Weee!

It's here! got delivered around 11am local time :)

Have installed various apps and transferred all my music from my desktop...damn that took a while - hurray for mac's multitasking capabilities :p

Calibrating the battery now :)

This is my first mac and it's GREAT!

No, is for me (Netherlands) the same: shipping 7 Nov, ETA 13 Nov. As soon as I get a shipping message, I'll start tracking and we can play the same game the 15" boys and girls are doing! Come on, 17 inchers

What was your ETA?

I ordered my 17" 2.33GHz 2GB 160GB HD Matte like an hour after the site came back online after the release. Shipping on the 7th and delivery on the 9th, oh and im in Australia, Melbourne. Cant wait for it to come!! anyone else got a 17'' delivery date, specially in aus?

What was your ETA?

My ETA was tomorrow the 1st

The last part of the shipping when really fast! Yesterday my MBP arrived at Amsterdam and was then sent to Arnhem, still in Holland where it arrived at around 19.00. It was delivered today at around 11 at my home near Copenhagen...good job TNT :)

Just called the local Apple Store, they have no idea when the 17" MBPs will be arriving so it looks like I'm sticking with my online order and a November 21st delivery. Anyone have any other info on delivery times for the 17"ers?

B

Well it didn't change, it is really frustrating, most of the people in Europe who ordered on the day of release will get theirs today or tomorrow while we have no idea.

Yeah this totally blows, days go by and we have no idea where our precious MBP is. If I ever make a similar order in the future I'm going to ensure everything gets shipped ASAP and not merged in transit, even if does cost more.

Do you think calling will yield any extra info? for all we know we could still be receiving it tomorrow, however at this stage I doubt it.

Perhaps. If it's not updated tomorrow, then I'll probably give them a call myself. I highly doubt it's anywhere near delivery yet, my UPS tracking number is still inactive.

They told me this when I called them. Who trusts costumer service guys. I know I don't. How can they deliver it tomorrow, if it's still smoking in Holland for the 2nd day?

At least the TNT tracking system acknowledges your system is on the ground... somewhere. According to the K+N system, both mine and Chimera's MBPs flew out of Shanghai on Saturday (which we weren't informed of until Monday) but have yet to arrive anywhere... How about that?

My 17" MBP order is supposed to ship on the 7th and arrive on the 15th.
