Downloading 2.34GB. The issue I reported earlier of the download failing to take off finally resolved itself. I really hope this resolves the file open dialogues within apps. It's driving me nuts. I'm not exactly hopeful considering what others reported regarding prefs apps opening slowly/incompletely. I've also had issues with nearly every single beta of it failing to load my external drives and having to switch the Thunderbolt 3 cable to another port.

wierd, it worked for me. I'm on beta 8 now 20A5374i - did you run both commands?
mute point, now that pub beta is up

I will add on my 2017 iMac 27" it's been running fine and this build embarrassed to say but does feel snappier.
The icons are growing on me and so far i have not had any issues even with bootcamp.

Networking in VMware Fusion virtual machines is still completely non-functional in this beta. It broke with beta 6 and nothing has changed since.

Caving in and taking the Public Beta plunge. Anyone have any issues with Antivirus software? Specifically Mcaffee. I know I had a 'legacy system extensions' message when I installed on Catalina. 12.16GB download. Excited to hear the old start up sound from years ago! Here we go!!!

Are you running V12 (Fusion Player)? It's working for me...
It works on some computers but not all of them. VMware seems to think it's an OS bug, not a Fusion bug. I'm testing on a 2018 13" MacBook Pro.

Still throwing a Kernel Panic after ejecting my eGPU (reported this so many times). Login still always ignoring keyboard settings. Really sad state for me :(

I have a 2018 Mac mini with an eGPU (Radeon RX 480 8 GB).

Can you inform if it boots showing the Apple logo with the eGPU on? Also if its stable using bootcamp (Windows 10). Thanks!

Current beta feels like an official release to me. Suprisingly stable.

Now that's a rumor worthy of this site. It's still extremely laggy on a pimped up MBP Pro 16inch and previously reported bugs (in beta 7) have still not been fixed.

Does this fix VMware Fusion networking problem that started two releases back?

Apple redesigned the Maps app to add support for Look Around

That's rather ambitious. It would be nice if Apple actually released Look Around for the rest of the US. Right now, the coverage is ... paltry, and that's being charitable.

For practical purposes, Look Around is nonexistent.
