Bugs, bugs, bugs. Calendar App icon is blank. Bank of America App rendered useless. Apple Watch not on the Bluetooth list (even though it is connected and works fine) Double click on home button to close an app and it jumps back and forth. Oh well, it does look awesome and everything else works superb.
try a hard restart, fixed many issues for me including the calendar issue you stated.

From doing many betas with Apple some tips. Always hard reset your device as a preventative measure after update reboot. Also if you are having an app issue delete the app and download again. Any issues with iCloud contacts, notes, passwords, log out of it and back in, and remember to turn off Find my iPhone first. Bluetooth issues delete the device and re-pair. Any cellular or wi-fi issues reset your network settings. Some devices will be laggy at first as the system indexes give it a day just in case. Your device may get hot, and you may see battery drain. Do all of these steps and more than not it clears up. I know many here know these things, but some do not. Yes, there are bugs, that's why it's a beta. I beta test for other companies and believe me Apple's has less with bugs and issues than any other I've done. If a third-party App crashes it's because they are responsible for updating. Apple did not break your App. If you've done all of these steps and still have a problem ask a question and forum members are glad to help. If you a whiner, crier or troll you should not do any betas or post on a beta thread, you can do all of that when the final release is ready.

My AirPods wouldn't update to the latest firmware through my iPhone running iOS 11 DP1 or DP2. Not sure if that changed with the public beta. Once I downgraded to iOS 10 they updated immediately, then I reinstalled the beta.
I updated to public beta this morning and my AirPods immediately followed with updates. So far they are even better than they already were.

only reason im installing it is to update my AirPods
That was my thought initially but new control center is pretty sweet too.

Is it me or is the only thing missing from the 3D Touch experience on the iPad Pro is haptic feedback?

Blank icons:

Mail, Calendar, Maps, Watch, Reminders, weather. Files, TV.

The rest all seem fine. So weird that their own apps have this issue and 3rd party don't.

ETA: I switched off WiFi on my 7 plus and tried just downloading them from the app store. Worked fine. With WiFi on, the app store kept failing to download them. All fixed!

I had this also, but they self-downloaded shortly after.

Not on my iPad Pro large
Ahhh.

I had several seconds of video when I posted. Now the app has returned to crashing.

This is the reason I only put 11 on my iPad and not my phone. I watch DTVNow on the road religiously through ATT Unlimited Plus data.

Hope the issue is fixed before I head to DC for the fourth. Lots of commuting time there and I would like to use the iPad and DTVNow.

The most notable thing about the beta (besides the blank icons) is I notice is that bluetooth audio is a bit shaky to my car radio. It doesn't always start or produces no sound even though the music is "playing" - and sometimes I get some sound that halts and jitters and sometimes then just works for no explanation.

The movie app has dissappeared completely. It probably had its functions subsumed into something else however.

The video app was already gone in 10.1 I think.

Oh boy it was replaced by TV. It's a lot more cumbersome than the old videos app. The user interface tries to make everything as large as possible whereas under movies you could maximize screen real estate so you didn't have to scroll ten miles to see everything. Except, under home videos it's a lot more reasonable.

That being said another thing I've found: it appears the multiple EQ options in music playback does not function either via headphones or bluetooth. (Example, bass booster which I normally use sounds identical to any of the other presets).

No the Video app still existed in the last 10.3 beta. What was it replaced by? Nothing? Thanks Apple for removing an app I used frequently. Typical. TV is not a suitable replacement for that app either.

So for those of you who don’t know how Betas work…they still have time to tweak and add things back if needed. Also, if you want to provide feedback, so it through the Feedback App, not post your pain-points on here. Thanks!

I hadn’t remembered seeing videos since TV came on board.

Maybe I missed something.

the multitasking is inconsistent for me on my 9.7" iPad Pro. Is it because there is only 3gb of RAM?

I got the multitasking working after I restarted and closed all the apps, but shortly after using it for awhile and switching to other apps, it wouldn't work anymore.

I also got stuck in the window where all the opens apps are displayed. Was watching netflix, went to all apps, and couldn't get back into netflix or the home screen. Couldn't even power off. Had to hold power + home to shutdown/restart.

3GB memory isn’t the problem.

The problem is this is public beta 1. No need to sweat. You didn’t just turn your iPad Pro in to an iPad 2 running 9.2 just yet.
