I assume this is just DP 2, which was even worse on my iPhone 7+ than beta 1, in regards to overall UI lag and battery drain. May wanna wait for DP 3/PB 2.
Yes, PB1 is the same build as DB2. For newer phones, build for either ends in "i". For older phones eligible for iOS 11, build for either ends in "j" (DP2, update 1 and PB1).

Thanks, but I'm referring to iOS 11 and it's finder like file system.

Ah! I would happily wait until iOS 11 GM for Apple to get that one working smooth as many other posters here mention several third party apps struggling with it at the moment.

I'd like to just say, I'm very impressed with PB1 on iPhone 7 Plus. It's actually made my 7 feels snappier and everything seems so smooth and fluid. I had a conversation with a friend last night (who is also running PB1) and we agreed that apps feel like they're 'instantly ready' now. If they're already open, clicking into one is instant. There's no reload wait or anything...apps are just...ready! Impressed.

interesting. It feels like it took a crap all over my SE. It is easily the most laggy experience I have had with a beta.

Did install it on my iPad Pro 10.5... no big issues at all so far.
Maybe has some issues with Apple Music. Wasn't remembering that I had Apple Music subscription. I had to log out of iCloud and back on to fix it.

BUT, I'm not sure I find the new multitasking all fast or easier... At least need some time to get used it....

BUT I miss the swipe to delete app from the Multitasking view... I find it way too long to press and then click on the X... And I noticed the App icon disappeared when you press on it and see the X to delete them from multitasking.

Am I missing something or is the only way to change tracks is to bring up the entire multitasking interface which also brings up the control center which contains the music controls?

Sorry if this is obvious, still getting used to the changes.

I have a strange bug in Siri. I cme from ios10 and had setup a male voice, enhanced, Dutch in Siri. In ios11 i can set up Siri to Dutch, and then i can choose for Belgian or Dutch. Dutch was my setup in the previeous version. If i choose Belgian, i get a Belgian i hear a Belgian voice. When choosing Dutch i hear a Dutch female voice. After return i ask Siri something. I get the Male Dutch voice. Strange? I have give Apple feedback.

Press and hold an app icon until it moves. With the other hand open a second app. Now drop the first app into the second. Done. :)

Well, that's not convoluted at all. :)

It took me a bit to figure out how to get to apps that are in folders. This seems like the least-Apple iOS interface they've ever designed.

Using PB1 on my 7 plus. Its ok, little buggy. However, a little disappointed the smart invert is still not 100%.

Just make sure you've got the Apple TV remote app installed and then add Apple TV to Control Centre. :)

It’s great you can customize control center now.

Bugs, bugs, bugs. Calendar App icon is blank. Bank of America App rendered useless. Apple Watch not on the Bluetooth list (even though it is connected and works fine) Double click on home button to close an app and it jumps back and forth. Oh well, it does look awesome and everything else works superb.

suffering similar bugs. one news app doesn't work (drudge) and the same closing app issue

Okay, so tried to post a photo on here from tapatalk and had a fun crash. So I'll add that to the app switcher acting wonky and the calculator widget being very bunched up. Little bit of lag and battery drain but it's not unbearable. I'm running it only on my 6s.

I'll wait until official release to update my 7 plus and 9.7 Pro.

My BoA app has been fine on phone and iPad.

No one is even mentioning the fact you can not upload files to a web site since DB2, I think this is one of the most basic things to have working in a beta, let alone a public beta. I made a similar post elsewhere to the point that I believe most people are only concerned about specific apps they run and control center. I mean come on, seriously, there is a lot more to iOS than most people even fathom.
I also totally agree with anothe poster that iOS is going backward to an old file folder seek n find utility and is very un iOS like and apps need to have the ability to be told where to look for files if not readily available as recents showing in the files app, we are still stuck searching for a file based on where it was last saved and in which cloud service.

Apple needs to make file access magical and effortless. The spotlight is the closest feature related to this issue and even that they are now pushing to the background. Hopefully they have a few aces up their sleeves and by GM everything becomes apparent why the Files app is currently behaving like an old Windows 3.1 system but will be utilized into a way better optimized system by release time.

What files are you trying to upload to what sites?

I've run into a similar Safari issue. If I try and use the Files document extension to upload a file from Safari to the Files app, the picker screen turns white on my 1st gen 12.9" Pro.

What files are you trying to upload to what sites?

Anything, PDF’s, Spreadsheets, Docs, etc.. In DB1 it all worked as before however you had to use the old app selection tabs to select a file but still worked, With the new PB1 and DB2 Files app, it still shows the Files app selection with certain cloud locations or on iPad but you can navigate for example to OneDrive, select a file and it behaves as though it will upload then just stops, same with PDF Expert, iCloud Drive, etc.. I even attempted dragging a file directly from an App that was placed within the Dock by pressing and holding to see the previous files, then drag one to the Web sites upload area as you would on a desktop and nothing happens. Also tried several websites to confirm this.
