So for those of you who don’t know how Betas work…they still have time to tweak and add things back if needed. Also, if you want to provide feedback, so it through the Feedback App, not post your pain-points on here. Thanks!
So for those of you who don't know how forums work... I am glad to see anyone sharing bugs they find so other beta users can look to see if it is universal or a user-isolated problem. Also it can help people decide if they want to download the beta in the first place.

Bugs, bugs, bugs. Calendar App icon is blank. Bank of America App rendered useless. Apple Watch not on the Bluetooth list (even though it is connected and works fine) Double click on home button to close an app and it jumps back and forth. Oh well, it does look awesome and everything else works superb.

unistall the app and reinstall. That might fx things.

Putting this on my iPad Pro. Think Ill keep it away from my phone/watch

I did the same thing. I've installed just about every consumer beta on my iPhone and iPad without experiencing any major issues but I've decided not to press my luck. It's on my iPad Pro but I'm going to wait for another beta or two before I put it on my iPhone.

Same here, but I will probably wait for the GM on my phone.

There isn't enough new stuff for the phone really to bother with using the beta on it. You gain very little.

I updated to public beta this morning and my AirPods immediately followed with updates. So far they are even better than they already were.

That was my thought initially but new control center is pretty sweet too.

Agree

Does the public beta on iPad Pro have the same issue as the iPhone where you can't "erase all settings" for a clean install? I realize the iPhone 7 is still behaving that way.

So this is my thoughts after using the public beta. I have an iPhone 6s+. I will mention, i attempted to put feedback through the app on the phone however it wouldn't work.

To be honest, this build is less of a beta and more an Alpha based on the usage of the phone.

There are numerous visual glitches (which considering the lack of front facing changes is surprising), the multi-tasking has glitches where apps won't close and the animation left to right barely works, screens with disappear off the screen showing half black, the feedback app didn't work for me), the OS at this point is an absolute mess of a system. Obviously they'll fix it for launch, but damn.. i've been using iOS betas since 7 and this is easily the worst i've ever experienced.

One note for people, downgrading is a nightmare. If you attempt to go down to 10.3.2 you will end up in a permanant restore loop. You need to download the latest beta 10.3.3 (4 when i fixed my phone last night) and you can download the firmware from apple (google, you'll find it). One mention, on iTunes on window, hold the shift key on 'update' and will let you select the ipsw file.

I don't mention this to slam the system, but to warn people so they don't suffer the same challenges i did.

Any idea if the old Public Beta profile (used for new 10.x releases) will automatically shift over to giving me 11.0? Or do I have to install a new profile?

For me, 11 wasn't available until I installed the "new" Public Beta Profile. Then 11 was immediately available.

May have been coincidence but I doubt it.

I have noticed that the brightness on my 5S isn't good outside. Much to dark.
I have noticed that a webpage, easy reader with font San Francisco, is not good exported to iBooks. Ik seems like the font is not supported or embedded.
Both hickups are sent per feedback to Apple.

Don
Press and hold an app icon until it moves. With the other hand open a second app. Now drop the first app into the second. Done. :)
Didn’t work for me can’t open an app when wiggling

Blank icons:

Mail, Calendar, Maps, Watch, Reminders, weather. Files, TV.

The rest all seem fine. So weird that their own apps have this issue and 3rd party don't.

ETA: I switched off WiFi on my 7 plus and tried just downloading them from the app store. Worked fine. With WiFi on, the app store kept failing to download them. All fixed!
To fix this forget wifi network and setup wifi again. Worked for me

Updated on my 9.7” air 2. Continually getting the message accessory not supported when charging. Aargh

I have to ask, is it a genuine lightning cable?

From doing many betas with Apple some tips. Always hard reset your device as a preventative measure after update reboot. Also if you are having an app issue delete the app and download again. Any issues with iCloud contacts, notes, passwords, log out of it and back in, and remember to turn off Find my iPhone first. Bluetooth issues delete the device and re-pair. Any cellular or wi-fi issues reset your network settings. Some devices will be laggy at first as the system indexes give it a day just in case. Your device may get hot, and you may see battery drain. Do all of these steps and more than not it clears up. I know many here know these things, but some do not. Yes, there are bugs, that's why it's a beta. I beta test for other companies and believe me Apple's has less with bugs and issues than any other I've done. If a third-party App crashes it's because they are responsible for updating. Apple did not break your App. If you've done all of these steps and still have a problem ask a question and forum members are glad to help. If you a whiner, crier or troll you should not do any betas or post on a beta thread, you can do all of that when the final release is ready.

Again with the sensible! There will be a backlash!

Go back and look again.

Seems like having a Hermes Apple Watch exempts you from public beta testing . Anyone else seeing the same issue?

My experience so far is that it's pretty unstable compared to version 10.x first public beta I threw on the same devices.
But it is manageable, there are a few obvious UI bugs that make it slow and annoying to use, but iOS 11 is a good improvement for me personally over 10. I like it. I like using it, and i like how apps look now with better/bigger fonts on certain things ~ easier on my really bad eyes.

Looking forward to the next beta to address some of those issues, but i felt comfortable enough to install iOS 11 on all my devices.

Has anyone figured out how to get swipe up to close apps working consistently? On my iPhone 7 it's erratic at best. Sometimes they close with 1 swipe while other times it's a mystery.

Again, for those who don’t know how Betas work…there WILL be bugs. That’s why it’s called a Beta. Before the Beta, was Alpha. Which is when they were wire framing the UI. Public Betas are Apple’s way of getting a larger test market of the OS, aside from their team of ~30 developers in Cupertino, and to get feedback from them. Public Betas aren’t code for “early way to update the new, upcoming OS”.

I’m having that problem too. Something I’ve definitely reported and encourage you do the same.

Don't suppose per-app bypass of "Do not disturb" is a thing yet?

Sometimes I may want to mute the usual plethora of emails and whatnot but still allow through text messages and other select IM apps. Currently you can only have phone calls bypass DND, or text if you use the "emergency bypass" for a contact but that also bypasses the mute switch...
