If you want full balls of signal, just turn off LTE.

I wish that was the case, but that absolutely does not work on my phone and is probably not going to work for them either. This is an ongoing issue and while that fix worked temporarily for Verizon customers, from what I've seen with at&t customers, the temporary fixes don't work. Just my observation, though.

iTunes started looping "new software for iPhone available". On second cycle phone got stuck on "connecting to wifi", and has been there since. Now phone and apple watch useless, and I have to rush to work…

10.1 is noticeably smoother than 10.0.2 was on my iPhone 5. There's less lag in animations, and apps do not re-load nearly as often. Feels just about as good as 9.3.5 did.

I'm finding the exact opposite. I'm seeing bad periodic freezing on my iPad Air 2 since updating to iOS 10.1. I actually had Safari completely freeze up on my for a good 10 seconds when I selected text from the page.

Do you have any proof, apart from the number of some vague bars/dots that cellular sensitivity has actually changed?

Have you done a speed test in the old 5s, then a speed test on the 7 to see if there is any difference?

If there is one thing I've noticed about iPhone signal strength meters is that they are not accurate.

Just sayin'...

I don't need proof, I can see it with my own eyes. Running speed tests aren't the most accurate way of testing things.

I know that signal bars are not 100% accurate, and if it adjusted from 5 to 4 bars I can accept that, but going from FULL bars of signal to ONE bar of signal obviously shows something was tweaked wrong on Apple's end.

Everything was fine until Apple tried to fix Verizon's signal issues with 10.0.3, that is when it all went downhill from there.

Also since 10.0.3, both my wife's phone and mine started to have decreased battery life while at home, and I had to turn off VOLTE on both phones because the lower signal strength was causing issues.

So yes, I know first hand that Apple broke something which was working fine.

Does anyone have problem with WiFi calling? It's disabled and asks me to contact my carrier after upgrading to 10.1

I always set up my new iPhones as a new device. Never carry over backups with new generations.

I have been so impressed 10.0.3 on my iPhone 7+ so far. Smoothest iOS release with me so far. Same cannot be said with iOS 8 on my late iPhone 6.

Maybe I've grown less picky over the years, but iOS 10.0.3 has impressed me I'm sure once I update to 10.1 tonight, I'll be even more satisfied.

Those of you having issues, don't hate me!

It may be intended behavior.
Open a few apps. Then double click the home button to open the mulitasking window. On an iPhone 7 I see the current app window move down slightly and then back up as all the windows are on the same level.

You can purposely make it more dramatic by pressing home once, and then delaying your second click.

If this is a bug, then I can see it, but it almost looks too natural not to be part of iOS 10. Could be wrong and again, not sure of its purpose either.

Though I must say, best initial iOS release experience for me so far.

does this restore the ability to access the emergency/medical ID directly from the swipe without doing the roundabout with touch id or passwords?

Seems to work fine on my Air 1 so far.

Works fine on my 6s with T-Mobile. I did do a carrier update too, so maybe check that.

The depth of field is a great feature, i've been playing around with it this morning on my day off from work, there are some really great pictures! i think Apple have done really well with this feature.

I always see these bug fixes and stability improvements updates (especially on apps that come every week), but I never felt them any different. The only time I felt I believe when they first updated iOS 7 and it really felt better.

Nope. I'm sticking to iOS 9 until they come up with an update to fix the abysmal UI, Music and Control Center, poor battery and overall glitches.

Quite frankly I love the music interface for amazon prime music. Apple should pay attention. Hate the new control center. Why put the music controls on a different page where I now need an extra swipe to access? Wish apple would allow us to configure control center to our liking.

I see it hasn't fixed the search especially in messages.

Noticed this the other day in 10.0.3 that searching for a person brought up only a few of the messages they were part of. Usually about 2, so if I had multiple messages with a person included in them i would/do not see all of those messages.

Same in the universal search

Exactly. Even on the iPad Pro 12" where there's more than ample space to fit all the control center elements together, you have to swipe between cards first. That's asinine design.

One is not mentioned : Facebook username or ID number on IPhones Contact app does not link with Facebook app since iOS 10. Now, it opens up in Safari, which is annoying.

This could be down to the Facebook app rather than the OS.

Does it fix the 6S battery bug?

I'm fed up of it dying at 50-30%

It could be a hardware issue to be honest. Get it checked at an Apple Store. My phone was dying with over 20% remaining. I got the battery replaced and now it works like a champ.

My 7+ and my wife's 7 are both on AT&T, and reception has been out of whack since 10.0.3.

Before upgrading, I had a 6s+ and my wife had a 5s. At our house we used to get full bars of signal, and it was still fine when we upgraded to the 7+ and 7 all the way up to 10.0.2. But when 10.0.3 came out to help with the issues Verizon customers were having, it really messed up our service. Now at our house it sits at ONE bar, and sometimes two.

So Apple, trying to fix Verizon's issues totally messed up mine on AT&T!!! They didn't need to mess with the AT&T modem as much being as hardly anyone had issues with the new phones on AT&T. Verizon users seemed the most effective.

So just to be sure, I put my wife's simcard back into her old 5s which is still on 9.3.5. Sure enough, FULL bars. So needless to say I'm a bit disappointed by whatever Apple changed in the GSM baseband.

Try getting new SIM cards. That helped me with my 7+. Apparently some of the newer phones are shipping with old SIM cards that aren't meant for the new technology. AT&T should give them to you free (they did with mine).

Still no Mark as Unread / Flag marker in Messages. Please tell me I'm not the only one who needs a visual reminder to respond to text messages I read and then cleared the notification for?

Can't you simply while in the messages app, ask Siri " remind me about this when I get home " or whatever location you have saved?
