Looks like you are on an X? Maybe they left it enabled on those with it for a softer rollout. Definitely not enabled on my several 7+ in front of me.

Not a available on my X either. This guys gotta be running a beta with it.

Here you go...
You’re running a beta version, guarantee. Pics of your operating version.

Yay a control center indicator line. Thanks Apple. I was too stupid to know about this by now and it makes things look so much better. More indicator lines please..
Does it show up in horizontal apps?
That confused the heck out of me at the beginning, especially when the apps are NOT optimized for the full screen.

Did anyone with iPhone 8 lose autofocus in their camera right after the update? Mine won’t focus on far away objects like it did. Anyone have any fix or idea about this?
8 or 8 Plus? My 8 seems to be fine, but I think I saw someone else in this thread mention they were having AF issues with their 8 Plus.

Ok, so I’m just seeing all of this and haven’t updated anything at this point. I’m not experiencing any date bug issues on either my iPad or 8 Plus at this point. Based on what I’m reading so far, maybe I should wait???

EDIT: Never mind, I’m still on 11.1.1 and I’ll just stay on it for now.

Weird, 10.3.3 still working perfectly... well that little wifi crack but my routers are patched so not so bad.

iOS11 is bad and an urgent update won't change that. is not bad because this fix was missing. It has problems like performance, keyboard and airplay. Apple is not a young company, IOS is not a new software, however their ability to.develop software is declining more and more on every version.

More features, more functionalities, more devices to support, more services to support, more apps to support = more lines of code = more bugs. Software 101.

It’d be intesresting to see the evolution of iOS source code size over time.

Why does everyone always complain their phone slows down right after they update. It’s common knowledge that you’re phone re-indexes after an update. Take a chill pill and calm the f*** down. Apple isn’t intentionally slowing your phone down. Just wait.

Yeah, this is super weird. Especially since they rushed out the release to quash a bug, but in doing so they hobbled the main feature of 11.2, Apple Pay Cash, which is not available in this update, even though the literature says it should be.

I assume no one else who’s running 11.2 (not beta) has Apple Pay Cash either?

I don't have it either

Just got off the phone with Apple Care. Actually, this rep did some "digging" and discovered that Apple Pay Cash is not "turned on" for IOS 11.2 but only for 11.2 beta users. There is no projected Apple Pay Cash release date that he was able to find.

Update

From the Verge:
"iOS 11.2 is a big iOS update, and includes Apple Pay Cash in the US, Apple’s new peer-to-peer payments service. Apple Pay Cash will be available inside the Messages app (once servers are live), and allows iPhone users to send money through iMessage, much like Venmo. Cash is then deposited on an Apple Pay Cash card inside the Wallet app on iOS 11.2, and can be used to purchase goods through Apple Pay or transferred to a bank account."

From Tech Crunch:
"Apple released an iOS update in the middle of the night (Cupertino time). iOS 11.2 brings Apple Pay Cash, but the feature is not live yet. The company still needs to flip a switch on its servers to enable it."

So, it looks like we are waiting on Apple to "flip that switch".

What a dumpster fire....Timmy has officially lost control of Apple. Who in their right mind pushes out production code on Friday at midnight?
Would you have preferred to have a rebooting phone every few minutes for a few days until Monday?

Anyone notice a performance change? My family members iPhone 6 is freaking slow on iOS 11, wondering if I should recommend them to upgrade.
Yes, 11.2 seems to be bringing back the overall performance that was lacking in 11.0.

Why release this update without Apple Pay Cash working????

Makes no sense Apple.
Um because the devices were rebooting every little bit? I suspect that's a tad more important to address than a new feature that hasn't existed yet. Not to mention the other fixes listed in the changelog.

The iPad Pro 12.9 on 11.2 still has that annoying bug when you go into control center and the background or wallpaper doesn't become opaque, so it become a jumbled mess with the app icons mixed in with the non opaque wallpaper.

Yeah, bit annoying but no biggy unless you are OCD. You need to long-swipe to mitigate this.

I do have the issue on my 8 Plus, the lense is trying the focus non-stop, restored back to 11.1.2 no issue, updated again to 11.2 issue reappeared.

Here's the keys to your new car, but you can't drive it yet!!!!

Having pop up notifications in CC is a hideous aesthetic,

I dont care what functional/educational purpose it serves.

Beyond hideous

Does it come up every time? Hope there’s an option to dismiss this warning forever. But it’s wishful thinking...

Apple Pay cash nowhere to be found on my iPhone X in wallet settings. Already have 2-factor turned on. Tried turning it off and then on again. Also not showing up on my iPad Pro. Anyone else experiencing this?

Yep, called Apple.
Evidently the servers are not live yet. When they are, from what I understand, you should be able to access Apple Pay Cash then.
