I have the iOS 13.1 public beta installed. Removed the profile, but still no update available... Am I doing something wrong?

Don't you have to downgrade to a 13.0 beta or 12.4.1 first and then upgrade to 13.0 public release OTA?

Ok...dumb question: How do we now update apps as they decided 'updating' the App Store app was a good idea?

I read somewhere that if you go into the App Store app and tap on your account at the top, one of the choices near the top shows what the updates tab used to have. I think. Haven't had a chance to try it yet, still "Verifying update".

Ah, ha ha ha! Likely so it can look at nearby devices/beacons and try to figure out where you are. Someone mentioned a while ago that iOS 13 requires apps to get permission for BlueTooth access, and that this was going to raise a lot of eyebrows and/or uproar about the number of apps that were using this just to see what's around you, in ways that users wouldn't expect or approve.

Took about 45 minutes for the whole process on my iPhone SE. Very smooth over the air. Going to take some time to get used to the new Photos but it looks good.

Weird. It should have asked to upgrade first. It said my reminders are shared with several device and to upgrade later or now.

Does this mean that shared reminders are always deleted? Or are they just unavailable until all parties are on iOS 13?

Yes you can downgrade to 12.4.1 as long as it's signed. Google it for instructions.

Turns out a lot of apps were accessing Bluetooth in the background to try to locate you. iOS 13 informs the user and lets them decide per-app.

To answer your question: because they're creepy.
