“estimating time remaining” on the screen has been displayed for over an hour. I restarted the phone to start all over and it’s still says same. What do I do

Fine

If it's so important

and hundreds of thousands of lives depend on it

certainly Apple and Google

in the interest of humanity

can release the code
Well, I‘m not quite sure about this and I am not a developer but I believe Apple did this...

you really cant not know...Steve let the iphone 4 antenna gate to happen or many other issues on macOS...so stop with this perfection that isnt real not even on Steve
You still believe Steve when he said 3.5" is the perfect size even in 2020 ?!
Sure, but this old style and new style widgets don’t make any sense whatsoever. It’s confusing as hell, especially for average users. And why are only the new ones allows on the Home Screen of iPhones. Weird.

What's about battery life on SE 2016? On 13.x it is relatively bad compared to previous versions. I'd like to get a better battery so want to hear feedbacks first before updating.

Nothing. A let it working for some hours, but still stuck. Already scheduled a call with Apple Support. How about you?

Downloaded the Beta 8. Restored it through the Finder. After that updated without a clean install. But I'm trying another approach today: Made a clean install again, but before, I made a backup in the computer (a Mac). And after the clean install was complete, before nothing else I clicked ON THE FINDER > "restore backup from this computer"...

...Edited...Voilá my friend, it finally worked!!!😂;)

I dont really understand this criticism. The default view is still how you have originally arranged your apps, with app library being a slide in from the right. You dont have to use this if you dont want to
Sure, but I don’t want to even accidentally swipe to it. For me at least it’s completely useless. I already have search, and I don’t need a random automatic view of my apps.

I also played around with the widgets. It looks cool and I really like how you can put them in between your apps. But man, is it a pain to organise. Icons flying all over the place, automatically moving to a previous screen, etc.

Loving the update so far. My SE (2) feels so much quicker/snappier. The whole app drawer thing is not much use to me though. Widgets look neat but also not too relevant to me either.

Without autopsies this 200k mean nothing! :)

Good luck to everyone who believe this BS.
They mean something. What they actually mean is still yet to be determined. It's "interesting" that a call for MORE scientific info is already downvoted...

I'm pretty underwhelmed by app drawer also. I don't see myself using it much. I already have my apps categorized in folders on my home screen.

Agree, app drawer is not very useful. I cant locate most of the apps where they are as most of them are not visible . I still feel swipe down for app search is much convenient, fast and accurate.

I must say, after using iOS products since the beginning...I am not super excited about the widgets. I mean, sure, we have them, but can only use them in the 'Apple' way. In order to change the playlists that appear on the music widget, i have to go into the app and recently play something from that playlist. Maybe I am missing something, but it is sort of half heartedly thought out; IMO.

Oh great, now my iOS14 phone does not show up in iTunes anymore (yes, I am behind with my MacOS and still have iTunes, but somehow I am not offered a macos update, running 10.13.6 on a mid 2014 macbook pro retina)

Which means I cannot transfer any files like my music on Vox nor VLC for movies ... thanks Apple

That’s been my case since Catalina. I can’t use iTunes to connect to my phone with Mojave. Dirty pool on apples’ part
