My advice. Do an encrypted backup of your phone. Do a clean Restore of the phone. Then restore to the encrypted backup.
And then have the same issue. Why on earth would you bother,..only to have the same issue.

Looks like it might be fixed for 14's, but not 13 Series phones. As u mentioned the copy/ Paste issue is still happening.

I am wondering if Apple re-instated "share to Messages groups". Updating now... Checking... Nope, still gone. This is annoying, whatever I try to share to our family group in Messages, Safari, Twitter, name it, there is no option anymore since IOS 16, showing only Contacts entries. Now I have to copy the link, go to Messages and paste it into the group... Why Apple?

Hello. Not sure if this was discussed. When you open a third party app such as WhatsApp and try to use the camera to shoot something, the camera does not switch to macro depending on the distance between the camera lens and the object. In the stock camera app, it transitions like butter. Is this an issue with the third party app requiring an update in order to change the lenses used based on the proximity to the object? I updated to 16.0.2 and still having the blurry issue.

iOS 16 camera vibration is affecting iPhone 13 Pro also. Initial testing lets me believe 16.0.2 fixes iPhone 13 Pro too. I wonder if Apple did test this on iPhone 13 Pro at all?

Gotta move back 200mm

Just updated purple 14 pro 512gb, since I sell (don´t wish fort6he camera to be damaged) my iphone every year to pay half the cost of the newly released phone in September. Although, I traditionally keep my iphones on the initial ios, so to increase the chances that it can be jailbroken, if a jb is available. Really hated having to update though.

How has 16.0.2 been?

I got home a few minutes ago with my iPhone 14 Pro Max, immediately updated iOS and then experienced the clicking camera when scanning my 1Password QR setup code. Rather gutted this nonsense hasn't been fixed.

So every iPhone 14 Pro had this issue? Is that what you are saying?
I mean someone in here literally said they never had it happen and used tik tok and snap chat the whole time and then randomly it happened on Wednesday for them. I think eventually everyone would have seen it if they used third party apps.

The news was big enough for apple to comment. It affect a lot of people.

Is the same clicking Instagram does. People mentioned it’s probably lens getting in place. Is it constant clicking?

why they didn't add the battery percentage on this update for the older models, as they already did it right for the betas ?

This update is focused on critical bug fixes. The fewer unnecessary changes the lower the risk of introducing new major bugs. New features can wait for 16.1

the new battery percentage they fixed in the last beta, doesn't seem like a major bug. It looks like the final thing, what's why they should do it with this update too...but yeah, 16.1 will bring it.

I think this was always the case. Don’t think they use macro

For some reason I have a odd glitch in my iMessages they turn Green and then turn blue.
For some odd reason it's only on my account tho Apple is on the case hopefully they can fix it soon has anybody else had any same issues

so without skimming every post in this thread so far

is the consensus that its fixed for people with violent shake, and others are now hearing a one-time click opening 3rd party apps and thats it?

Or still some reports of violent shaking?

If some have it, others dont - a hardware issue? Or a bug that still hasn't been fully fleshed out?

Looking for opinions on the matter thanks

Someone said they had the shaking on their 13 Pro, which is a year old device which never had issues before, so it shouldn't be a hardware issue.
