Same. Some are seeing 16.0, but I definitely got 16.0.2 in the name.

Not sure why little things like these keep getting missed; this is a pretty important place to get the details right. People might well ignore it "well, I'm already on iOS 16.0" and then damage their camera.

Is it the same language? What I’m seeing is a lot of grammatical errors in other languages. Could it be the first one is in English from the USA and the other one in English from another region?

Only been installed for a few hours but anecdotally I am noticing improved battery on my 14 Pro Max. My battery compared to the 13 Pro Max has not been stellar. Usual end of my work day with 13 Pro Max was always around 65-70%. Same usage on my 14 Pro Max and I’ve been around 45% each day. Since it finished installing my battery which was at 60% when installed is 5 hours later at 49% with 2 hours of active screen time added in that time frame. Fingers crossed that I see continued improvement the next few days.

I don’t have any of these issues, but I still love me some tasty, freshly baked iPhone updates.

I knew this wasn’t an easy fix. For me it seems pretty clear the way the system is designed right now, they can’t know if a user is giving the command to paste or if it is the app. Seems like Apple cut out the middle man and instead makes the app access another app to get the info that needs to be pasted. This doesn’t makes sense at all. There’s no clipboard? If I go to twitter and copy something it should be added to my clipboard. Then if I want to paste it the app where I’m going to paste it should access my clipboard to get the info. How on earth does the app knows where the info comes from? Why would the app need to access the other app info at all?

There should be no way for the pasting app to know from where I copied the data.
You use CloudClip?

I’ve seen this regurgitated several times but there isn’t any evidence that it’s true. I’m personally not worried about it. 🤷‍♂️
After leaving to accept the 200mm minimum focus distance I’m a happy camper

I’m still getting the allow paste pop up on deliveries app

The way I see it, you will still get the pop up in apps that try to paste automatically. Delivers and 17TRACK do that, and that's by design: they try to paste what's in your clipboard to detect tracking numbers you pasted, without you needing to hit "paste". Then the prompt "Delivery detected" shows up.

This iOS feature makes sure you are aware that the app is trying to paste something without you interacting with it. This can be a security problem, if an app starts to try pasting stuff (for example passwords) without you noticing.

That said, I feel like there should be a per-app setting where you can leave it always enabled. We all know Deliveries and 17TRACK will want to paste all the time as they are built to detect delivery tracking numbers. So we don't need to be asked every time.

How are everyone’s night mode photos after the update? Mine are extremely blurry and almost as night mode isn’t working at all. Only the 1x lens appears to adjust properly. Curious if the update broke night mode or if the camera is bad after all the shaking that took place before the update.

I've turn on the update before bedtime yesterday on my iPhone 14 Pro. I'm charging overnight. When I woke up the phone was a brick - didn't react to anything. Thankfully a hard restart help (Volume Up, Down and Power Button). It turns on again. The Software update hasn't been installed. Just want to warn you guys that a) it can brick your phone and b) it can be fixed by the hard reset.

That was a fast response, especially compared to some bugs that remain an issue for months after discovery. I guess the prospect of a bunch of iPhone 14 Pro users coming in for a replacement over the next few days was a good motivator to get this fix out the door quickly.

The Copy/Paste issue is NOT fixed! Still an issue on iPhone 13 Pro. Endless loops of confirming in Notepad.

Also, Notepad continually scrolls to the top, the moment you re-enter a large note. An issue thats literally been going for 7 years and not fixed.

Did nobody pick up on this in the months and months of Beta testing??

I had this exact same issue on the 14 pro max, luckily the hard reset worked.

Just updated purple 14 pro 512gb, since I sell (don´t wish fort6he camera to be damaged) my iphone every year to pay half the cost of the newly released phone in September. Although, I traditionally keep my iphones on the initial ios, so to increase the chances that it can be jailbroken, if a jb is available. Really hated having to update though.

Jailbreak? Seriously?

Anyone else having always on turn off while charging in do not disturb mode? Not sleep mode.

This just started tonight after the update. Woke up twice at night and always on was off

And this is why I won’t be going to IOS 16 until… well the bugs are worked out. I need my phone to work rather than have the latest features along with their bugs.

This might shock you, but when the phone goes from being used by dozens of employees to being used by millions of users in the matter of 24 hours, that’s when the majority of bugs are found.
Just look at the copy paste bug, one of the leaders of the team that created that feature literally said they never saw an issue internally

FWIW, I was running a public beta on my 12 mini and have not noticed the copy-paste bug either, up until the public release. 🤷🏻‍♂️
