it was last week friday iOS 16.0.1 that should be fix if you have update it ?
16.0.1 didn’t fix it and neither did 16.0.2. A few others have been reporting the same issue as well. They’re something with iOS 16 not seeing iPadOS 15.7 and macOS 12.x when it comes to iCloud message syncing.

The noise from camera doesn’t happen in pano mode, if you hold it up and swipe through the modes you can hear a thud and white noise start. Really weird

It shows as IOS 16 insteas of 16.0.2.
But is has the correct release notes.
Is this normal ?
What do you guys see ?
Showing up as proper 16.0.2 for me.

Unfortunately copy/paste is still nagging me on 16.0.2 and even 16.1 Beta 2, try again Apple.

I can’t believe so many of you upgraded from the 13 pro max or 13 Pro to the 14 pro max or 14 Pro and now you’re all having so much trouble with such a little upgrade Why would bother I think it’s hilarious. 13 promax working perfectly fine here.

iPhone 14 is not the blame, it's the crappy iOS 16, even when I had the 13 Pro Max as soon as I upgraded to 16 I had iMessage syncing issues between my phone and watch, copy/paste nagging popup and wireless carplay issues when playing back music. Music plays fine initially but randomly switches to what seems to be mono, if I hit pause and play instantly it's fine again.

iOS 16 is just a massive pile of crap that needs a lot of work.

Apple today released iOS 16.0.2, addressing a number of bugs that iPhone 14 owners have been experiencing since the new devices launched. iOS 16.0.2 comes two weeks after the launch of iOS 16, and it follows iOS 16.0.1, an update made available to iPhone 14 owners on launch day. The update is available for all iPhones that are capable of running iOS 16.

The iOS 16.0.2 update can be downloaded on eligible iPhones over-the-air by going to Settings > General > Software Update.

According to Apple's release notes, iOS 16.0.2 addresses bugs a number of bugs that have been impacting the iPhone 14 models and other iPhones running iOS 16. It addresses an issue that could cause the camera to vibrate and shake in third-party camera apps, it fixes a bug that led to repeated copy and paste popups, and it resolves a problem causing the display to appear black during setup.

It also fixes an issue that caused some iPhone X, XR, and iPhone 11 models with replaced displays to become unresponsive after updating to iOS 16. Apple's release notes for the update are below:

All of these bugs were found shortly after the new iPhones launched. The camera vibration issue is one of the more serious bugs as it causes the rear camera to shake uncontrollably when filming video in apps like Snapchat, TikTok, and Instagram. The stock Camera app is not affected, and until now, there was no workaround or fix.

As for the copy and paste bug, Apple confirmed that it was not normal behavior last week. Apps are not supposed to ask for permission to access the clipboard with every single paste attempt, and the issue has already been addressed in the iOS 16.1 beta.

Apple is already working on iOS 16.1, which will be released alongside iPadOS 16.1 sometime in October.

Err so just updated my iPhone 14 pro and the touchscreen no longer works. Fabulous. Was really enjoying my new phone too, coming from a Samsung s10+….but to be fair to Samsung the touchscreen on that never died after an update. Touchscreen is sort of important, Apple!

Is there any way to hard reset with just buttons? Power and volume tries to emergency call.

If I attach a usb mouse would that let me drag the power off or do I have to wait for the battery to run out / try to restore via a backup. Ffs.

To to a forced restart, press volume up, volume down then hold the power button until the Apple logo pops up. Needs to be done in order and quickly.

Thanks I just googled. I’m an idiot trying the way I did it on my iPad Pro. Thank you!

Aaand after that touchscreen is working again. As you were! 😆

P.s. very nice phone. Just sort of wish it had usb c but airdrop is pretty fast so….all good

And here's just a short summary of iOS 16 and iPhone 14 bugs so far:

- Camera shakes.
- Pro's randomly rebooting while charging.
- CarPlay issues.
- Blank screen after restore.
- Excessive battery drain.
- Poor camera performance on 14 Pro's.
- System data filling entire storage.
- Copy/paste prompts.
- Ect...

Nah, it's WFH.
Are you new to computers? Seems like you are.

Oh, I hate the Etc bug, it is so specific!

And you have no clue WFH is the cause of anything. Pure wild speculation.
