Well, bricked a 12 pro max…

one phone down...one to go...only issues I can see is that there is a service update in the App Store...won't update the apps because when you hit agree...it says there's an issue. Not sure how to fix this...

Having same issue. I try to accept the new terms and it says there is an error try again. I’ve tried a dozen times. I can’t update any App Store updates right now. My Mac had a similar message early in the day and I accepted and it worked.

It is not uncommon for me to be "stuck" at preparing update for awhile on every IOS update that I've ever done. It will take a long time sometimes to change.. be patient...plug in your phone if you fear you will run out of power.

Also getting the terms and conditions error. Apparently nobody at Apple or beta testers have ever tried to read the conditions either. The page turning buttons at the bottom are covered by the swipey home bar thing(tm), making it extremely difficult to actually advance the page.

i get that error also. have you tried rebooting your phone?

Not yet...didn't think about that...also, bulversion 20A362...and Mac OS update is out too. with safari 16.

Same. Reboot didn’t fix it. Also can’t seem to save photos from iMessage to Photos.

finished downloading and preparing...now moved on to installing.

Can confirm this is not an iOS 16 issue, I'm still on 15.6.1. and trying to update apps and getting the same error.

Same thing happened to my iPhone 12 Pro. Had to download the IPSW, put phone into DFU Mode, and used iTunes to update to iOS 16 again. All good afterwards.

Yup. I can't update my apps on my iPhone (iOS 16) or my M1 Macbook, which obviously hasn't been updated yet.
