Update went fine.

First thing I noticed was that notifications on Home Screen are upside down.

Battery level went down a bit even though I charged during the update.

Unable to accept terms & conditions on App Store. We should assume Apple knows about this and are going to fix it ASAP.

Weird that they did indeed suggest me to update to iOS 15.7. Seems like a mistake.

After updating my iPhone 13 to iOS 16 and my iPad to iPadOS 15.7 I am unable to accept the new terms of conditions on the Apple App Store so I can not install or update applications. It give me this error. Their was an error. Please try again later.

This got to be the worst day of my life!!!
The update has ruined my iPhone!! After installing, my iPhone got stuck in logo mode, and I tried to re-update through my Mac, and it still doesn't work. It says I need to factory reset, meaning I'll loose everything!!! I can't believe this is coming from Apple!!!! 2 years of pictures lost. I'm freaking heartbroken about this. **** ios16

Well, bricked a 12 pro max…

Same. Reboot didn’t fix it. Also can’t seem to save photos from iMessage to Photos.

So it bricked my XR and I am trying to upgrade again via Finder. Or I have to erase my iPhone entirely.

Reading about a number of people on Reddit saying their phone was “bricked”. May not be the right word. But stuck with flashing apple logo.

Downloaded and installed on my iPhone 11 Pro Max. Running really slow now…

I also found out the hard way last year when trying to update a friend's phone that you can't update your phone on a mac via USB-C (at least with my Anker cable). No, of course you have to use a USB-A with an adapter, otherwise the update just fails halfway through

At 2:20 pm, my only choice was iOS 15.7. 16 didn't show up. Given the reports of bricked phones, maybe 16 was pulled.

UPDATE: My bad. After restarting with 15.7, I can see that the iOS 16 update is there, just way at the bottom off the screen. It's weird that Apple sort of buried it. With all the problems appearing, maybe it's just as well. I'll wait a bit before upgrading (again).

Bad decision not to take backups. It's extremely easy and you have had plenty of chances to do so.

Same thing happened to my iPhone 12 Pro. Had to download the IPSW, put phone into DFU Mode, and used iTunes to update to iOS 16 again. All good afterwards.
Please, can you help me? Im currently stuck too.
Where can I download the IPSW and what is DFU mode and how do I put it into it?

Having same issue. I try to accept the new terms and it says there is an error try again. I’ve tried a dozen times. I can’t update any App Store updates right now. My Mac had a similar message early in the day and I accepted and it worked.
Same issue here.

So did you not back it up?

Even though it isn't needed, it's always nice to have a fresh backup from the same OS you are setting up on.
That's exactly what I was pondering. Whether the migration process would be riskier with the preceding OS. Or not. I'd rather not take the time to update 'wallet' info and so on on my iPhone 13 PM and then go through it all again later this week.

Does scrolling feel... I don't know, weird to anybody now? Like it takes more swipes than it used to? Not laggy, just... slow. Or have I finally lost what was left of my mind?
