Can't wait to get home to install this update.
Does anyone know if you can share music from your mac to the ipad, and then play it over an airplay speaker system? I can't find anything about this on Apple. Is there even a decent Airplay speaker out yet?![]()
How do you do this, I don't see it anywhere.
Anyone have a theory why this update caused my iPhone 4 to brick, now restoring it but its super annoyingNever happened before with my old iPhone 3G or this iPhone 4.
If you hit the center button on your remote on this screen it will toggle to show iOS4.3. This is confusing, but apple has chosen to show it as Apple TV version 4.2, which is actually iOS version 4.3.
Thanks. You are right with the button. (Btwhow did you find that out!?) The info changes from "Apple TV-Software" to "OS Build-Version":

Can anyone confirm that Safari on the iPhone 4 is better?

As had been rumored yesterday after a false start, Apple has just released iOS 4.3 to the public, two days ahead of schedule. Updates are available for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch, and users should be able update their devices by connecting them to iTunes and clicking the "Check for Update" button.

iOS 4.3 brings a number of enhancements including AirPlay video compatibility for third-party apps and websites, Safari speed improvements, Home Sharing to stream media from any iTunes library to an iOS device via Wi-Fi, and a new option for customizing the iPad's side switch to serve as a mute toggle or screen orientation lock. Finally, iOS 4.3 brings personal hotspot functionality to the GSM iPhone 4 following the feature's debut on the Verizon iPhone last month.
