My Remote app on my iphone has a sharing option but when touched, it doesnt show any libraries or anything....
So how exactly do we access the media on the iPhone?
I also typed in my apple id on the iphone Remote app.

I was hoping to be able to see movies and listen to music on my Mac Mini iTunes....

So how does this all work? I see no media.

actually this answers the issue....the whole bit about iPod settings....that where i went wrong...
 
AirPlay Broken

Hmm, so just finished the 4.3 upgrade for my iPhone 3GS and the "4.2" upgrade for my AppleTV, and it seems AirPlay has taken a big step backwards for me. I can only stream the audio from most video on my iPhone now. I used to be able to play videos from the "Files" app, but now only audio streams to the ATV, and as far as Safari goes, it's the same thing.

Anyone have similar problems? I tried the video from the NYT front page just now.

Tesco use the o2 network and you can't get it unless you pay £7.50 per month. That's what it is on o2 anyway. :mad:

You do not need a paid developer account, just hit cancel when it asks you to sign in.

I can't use the camera with this 4.3 update... :eek:
...Then, I couldn't use it prior to the update since I'm having an iPod 3gen...:rolleyes:
...And no camera to begin with... :D
 
Ugh, I was able to update my iPhone and AppleTV with little trouble, but even after trying on several different computers, iTunes continues to insist that my iPad with version 4.2 is up to date. How do I force it to download iOS 4.3 for the iPad?

You don't even need XCode if you're jailbroken. Jailbreakzone

I'm using it on a jailbroken iPhone 4 and I do love the swipe for multitasking bar although it's definitely cramped on the 3.5" screen. 4-5 fingers is a bit much. 3 would be perfect (but I think they're used for Accessibility).

Anyone know what this is in reference to?
I dont see the option to like songs in my iPod
 
Any difference in signal strength

Hi all
Someone told me you now notice more signal bars on 3G on Iphone 4 with this update, than before, in areas you had poor signal. Can anyone confirm if the signal bars have changed at all.

I've been using 4.3 for a few days and I haven't seen that yet either.

Looks to be about the same for me. I'll have to pay attention to a particular part of my commute when the signal, without fail, drops and see if that's been improved (I think it's a bad handoff). I haven't been streaming anything recently.
 
Personal Hotspot works on O2 UK

I have just installed the new update on my O2 UK Iphone 4. I can confirm the following:

Safari is awesome, much more snapier like everyone else has said.

3G signal bars in my house has improved from 1 bar on 3G to 2/3 bars. On Edge its always full bars anyway.

Personal Hotspot has been tested and it works great. Tested it using wifi, and bluetooth on my mbp. I do have internet tethering, so i am not sure if this is only available if you have internet tethering.

Anyways I am well happy with this update. Thank you Apple :)
 
just tried Air Play with iTunes move trailers from the ipad from the apple website, still no airplay. this feature is so inconsistent its unbelievable
 
new multitouch gestures anyone?

am i wrong or wasnt this release supposed to carry new 4 and 5 finger multitouch gestures? this may sound lame, but I've been waiting for it since the announcement n now nothing? Might as well download and keep using the latest beta which has the multitouch gestures
