Apple Releases iOS 5 Beta 2 to Developers

Overall stability on beta 2 over beta one? I am a registered developer but I only have my daily device, so I am hesitant to deal with the bugs again. Beta 1 was too buggy
 
streaming video?

Anyone else having issues with video controls not showing up while watching streaming video through safari?

I've been visiting various video sites and whenever I try watching a clip, the movie goes to full screen after i click play, hangs for a moment and then begins playing. the problem is no matter how many times i tap or touch the screen, the video controls don't appear.

youtube does not seem affected.

anyone else?

Seems more stable, but time will tell.

Much more stable and smooth, but still plenty of bugs. Don't install on a daily driver, though.

I have found that disabling all Calendar services, then re-enabling them as well as avoiding the Month view helps. I have had little trouble since. Sounds like a new bug though.

Netflix works but HBO Go crashes. Pandora seems to work as well. I am on AT&T iPhone 4.

Any news on whether this iOS update allows one to edit his or her app "purchased" list that appears on the device?
 
For those asking if an Opt+Update ist possible, unfortunately it isn't. I don't recommend restoring and then restoring a backup made with an older version.

Nope, you can't.
 
I still don't understand why there isn't a background service for iTunes.

With WiFi Sync I don't want to make sure my iTunes is open for it to sync when I go to charge the phone.

Flat out stupid.

There technically is..."iTunes Helper." Maybe Apple will integrate it into this process in the future?
 
iTunes Sync Step 7 or 7 "Waiting for changes to reconcile"

Since going to iOS 5 B2 and New iTunes 10.5 B2 and now having this problem. Anybody else see this problem. Have same problem with iPhone 4 and iPad 2. I think it is related to Pictures (not sure). I am using iPhoto and have it set to Sync the entire library and Include Videos. Never a problem in the past even with B1 of both.

It does not seem to finish.
 
overall seems better than beta 1 and wi-fi sync is pretty cool... and those of you wondering... baseband is 4.11.06
 
I think this beta suggests the next will be a delta update. In the software update area, it now says I'm up to date as opposed to my connection being too slow.

I have this problem too. iTunes wont go pass the "Waiting for changes to reconcile".

I have this problem too. iTunes wont go pass the "Waiting for changes to reconcile".

I have this problem only when syncing with the USB. As soon as I do wifi sync, I don't have a problem.
 
Can you upgrade from 4.3.3 or do a new restore? My UDID is registered but I went back to 4.3.3 from beta 1 for various reasons... I downloaded the new beta and it gave me an error message saying not compatible...?
