Hmmm, am unable to update Apps on my iPad now. It just hangs and never asks for a password. Off to the bug reporter.
I thought you gotta go into DFU mode to get back to 4.3.3.
Not really. I did it without going into DFU mode.
I'm hoping for the option of "X number of days/weeks/months".
The current options are too limited.

He's talking about installing iOS 4.3.3, which anyone can download. You have to be a developer (or be beta-testing an app for a developer) to install iOS 5.Are you a developer? I'm considering downloading this.

OK this is ridiculous. There is no good reason why I shouldn't get the wifi syncing I've been demanding from day one. I even emailed Steve about it years ago. So draconian Apple wants me to out and buy a new iPhone to get their crappy new software? Screw them. I'll go buy an Android Galaxy S2 instead.
Can't find this option. There is now an option to turn off "Show Preview" of email messages just like text messages.
Yeah, I know about iOS 4.3.3. I'm running it now and I know iOS 5 betas are INTENDED for developers, but really anyone can download them, tbh. I'm not going to though. I usually download the GM seeds which anyone can download.
Can anyone tell me if the airvideo app works on beta 3, worked in earlier versions but I wanna make sure nothing broke during the upgrade since i use it everyday
Thanks![]()

You're omitting a crucial detail -- you need your device registered with an Apple dev account. Otherwise iTunes won't allow you to install the beta."Incorrect again haha"Again, they are intended for developers, but of course it's up to the person if they want to download it or not. Since the download links are posted everyone, you technically could download it if you had your own test device or whatever.
can someone tell me the filesize for the ipad 2 wi-fi download?

A quick google of "9A5220p" seems to show that it is iOS beta 1. Before doing anything, you'll need to sync/backup using iTunes beta 1. Then upgrade iTunes to beta 3. Then restore your phone to iOS beta 3.I installed iOS 5 a couple of weeks ago. Version 5.0 (9A5220p). Is that beta 1? I ask because I'm having all sorts of issues with my phone and I will be updating to beta 3 when I get home. I'm hoping it fixes alot of the problems I have.
Are there any features missing from the iPod touch 4g besides the picture editing? Whhat's the speed like on the iPt 4g?
No DFU mode needed and I am a developer. You're supposed to be a developer to have these betas.
