How'd you do the clean install? When I installed from beta 4, it never prompted me with those original set up steps.

It did the reset all settings steps, after that I had to setup the phone again and was able to get te OTA, after it installed at the setup I choose to set up as a new iPhone.

I just didn't notice it on the dev site when I looked earlier. I wonder if it's to combat non-dev's or something of that nature.

nah i think it's more to do with some settings may cause an issue. My iPhone showed the OTA update without erasing data and settings and is running fine. My iPad didn't show the OTA update until i did the erasing, there's obviously some glitch with OTA that doing the erasing settings thing fixes.

i had to reset mine up to my contacts which was annoying.

mine doesn't say awaiting activation at all. my signal is the same, could just be atmospheric your end tho.

None of my Apps will open after the update. First time I've ever had a problem with Betas will try a restore.

i found that editing the info of a ringtone will make it show back up in the text tone setting again.

Sigh people. If apple says reset your device before update, it may not necessarily be because not doing so will BRICK your phone. It's probably due to some settings specific to some feature or iOS built-in app that would be set correctly only if reset from scratch. I would probably give a point or two, to the advice of the guy who's actually coding the OS.

I usted to have this problem with mi old ex iPhone 3G, apps didn't open suddenly, I had to install a new app to be able to launch any other app

iPad 2 Screen Accuracy

I noticed, and read on a few boards, that the touch screen on the iPad (mines an iPad 2) isn't as precise as usual. Sometimes trying to touch a particular spot can be difficult and frustrating. Has anyone noticed if this have been fixed in Beta 5?
