My battery life seems to be fine on my 5s and my Air. The only problem I have is occasional crashing which I attribute to memory management and expect it will be fixed. I also think that iOS7 was a long needed breath of fresh air for the platform. I just hope it's true that they're not done in 7.1 and beyond. I generally like the design, I just don't like flat like Windows 8.

Something that has been in 7.1 since Beta 2, but I haven't found any mention here on MacRumors :
A toggle button to bring back the classic UI in Calendar.

Yeah that's been mentioned. What hasn't been mentioned is that it's a bit confusing to use, to be able to switch between the list mode and the what's-on-my-calendar-today mode. Definitely needs a few tweaks.

Is this beta safe for non-developers? I'm trying not to install beta, i just can't hold myself anymore i wanna install since the beta 2 but it's not safe for non-devs. How about beta3? Can i install this using shift+update in iTunes? Thanks

I have an IPhone 4, 4s, and an ipod touch 5th generation.

To me ios 7 is a good addition to the ios platform. Ios 4 5 and 6 to me were really similar but excellent platforms to use. Ios 7 is a breath of fresh air if you will, while far from perfect and perhaps apples most bugged software ever made it still is a good update from previous updates and theyb(apple) are trying to fix it they just need more time.

I havent really had any problems with ios 7. Sometimes it is slow and unresponsive but I can deal with it as im using it for a phone and an ipod. If I wanted to be 120% fast I would use a computer not a phone to get my work done. on a tablet I can understand some peoples woes but again I would just use a computer. Im tired of coming on these forums and see peopke complain and complain without offering any solutions. They complain and complain about a BRAND NEW operating system. On both my iphones I dont have any battery problems or a laggy keyboard . Just the slow loading of websites or email but as I said it is a phone. I would use a computer

My iphone 4 is ios 7.0.3 and my 4s is 7.0.4 and my ipod is ios 7.0.3,

I believe apple is trying really hard to fix this sytem for everyone yet you still complain. Give them time.

Seems like it's likely the same as beta 2.

I think iOS7 is gorg. I really love the update though they really need tp hire a good designers. Its just that they really whited out every app that is a bad thing for me. Music app for an example is reallt nice if we are going to have the dark theme back.

And one thing i noticed is that they follow design in ios7 than follow usabilty, for example in iOS6.1 they spaced out the << || >> buttons for better usability and ios7 they pushed it back to << || >> and also for the ipad version of iOS7 which basically is a large scale version of the iPhone, the notification center the folders the lock screen, looks like a large iPhone.

Ya I noticed that. The music app needs some work. But as I mentioned to me its just annoying little thing that they shoukd fix but updating the system as a whole takes precedent. The dard keyboard would have been nice but oh well.

I like ios 7 overall. Looks nice to me. Just some tweaks you know

So no beta for nondevs :(
More or less as was originally and generally always intended.

Why shrink the call button? I don't mind the other changes.
Perhaps to avoid accidental taps on a larger button that maybe more people were experiencing lately? I don't know if that's the case, but that could be a potential reason or at least part of thinking that went into it. That and/or the overall design going to circular buttons in general, and there's no good way to make a much larger circular button there without it being even more strange looking and still not be as wide as a rectangular button.

But what i'm afraid of is that things are getting worse, for example the new circular buttons, giving the screen too much space and also for the slide to power off switch. They don't need to blur something for no reason, and the reduce white option is like changing the color from FFFFFF to F8F8F8 which don't make sense at all.

I love iOS7 but these little things really get my nerves.

Oh and one more thing, the increase contrast make the notification center 100% black & white which i find it really stupid. I mean comeon i kniw they remove textures but give it a little design.

iOS7 really needs a lot of work.

i know. :( but waiting until march is really a long time.

but circular buttons gives the ui so much redunduncy and more space in the screen which make it look like an unfinished work and somethings missing.

What I think is happening ( if I word this right ) is with all the extra space when dialing or answering a phone call is people are having troubke seeing who is calling so there picture in the background might help. Also with the extra space your chin or ear doesnt hit the end botton. Looks alright to me. but I see ( lol ) where you are comming from.seeing a mostly blank screen cold get annoying. ( I dont think I explained it right ).

I do like the small round bottons though. I think thats what 7 should have been from the beginnung

I like the round buttons too but the space between the answer and reject buttons needs to be worked out. it will be great if they would just centered it. and instead of blurring everything, use the contact picture as the full background screen so the space is not more of a space but more considered as an info.

Or why not in the middle of the screen there is a circle lightly huge avatr of the call with the name below and some details so these space i'm talking about will be used for good reason.

Maybe they are just testing this out and there might be a beta 4 or will take it out in final version, the space could just be a way to make the screen less cluttered thats all. The bkurring I could deal with. But I think it is a waste to.

Woukd you prefer to have the answer and end buttons next to each other or spread out or maybe just not as much

I know. But as a graphic designer also, i think THIS looks fantastic. This is the way it should be. Not an empty blurred screen

That's because you're absolutely right. The new screen is ugly but have no fear I emailed Cook and told him I would come to Cupertino and fix what's visually wrong with iOS7! ::D

I know they're testing things out. And that is why i hate myself being intensely perfectionist but i hope you guys are getting me. :)

Love it.

Yes, button shapes are back!

Perhaps they'll add a "Button Color" option, a "Button Shading" option, a "Button Emboss" option, etc. over the next few betas, and by iOS 8 we'll just have:

My ideal => IOS 6 look. IOS 7 added functions.
Until this is available, I'll stick with 6. Much better. No problems.
