Can we get a report on how the iPad is running / changes with the new beta?? The ipad has had many more problems like animation lag and respringing back to the apple logo.

Agreed. iPad is definitely the most unstable product running iOS 7.

Would someone be so kind to see if it works with evasi0n7?

Really? even when beta 3 is out, people can still sign betas 1 and 2 if they want to?

If you can get your hands on the install file then yes. I'm sure they can all be found buried online.

I don't know about it turning green all the time but it would be nice to have the plug back to see when it is sort of probably fully charged. The only way to know for sure is for me to go I to battery detective and see when it is finally starting to drain a little then I know it's done charging. It was kind of like this before on ios 6 but at least then it showed a plug once it was up to full capacity. Now it shows 100% even before it hits the full capacity. It will sit on 100% for up to 35-45 minutes till it's done trickle charging. When I wait this long after the supposed 100% fully charged I always have longer battery life.

Whoah, what is that app called? I haven't yet found an app that can give such detailed battery info.

I just hope it fixes memory management and crashes. Any graphical improvements would just be a bonus.

Does not work flawlessly. Three 5S' in the house. All have the same finger (for different people) programmed on their devices. Each finger takes up all 5 spots. Works 60% of the time. And 30% you have to scan twice.

Maybe use it as designed? One finger = one slot.

The system learns as you go so I understand why your setup wouldn't work.

Safari Memory management issues solved?

Is there any indication that the memory management issues that make Safari crash rendering on very large web pages so commonly is solved?

I mean all the pretty doodads and thingees are nice but an OS that doesn't crash when you use it would be even better.

Has anyone tried to apply Beta 3 without registered UDID or will Apple continue this after 7.1 Beta 2?

It won't work. The phone goes thru the Activation Screen again after beta 3 update. You have to have your UDID registered.

I don't. The poster I replied to was talking about the person who was "in charge of iOS7".

Well according to the org chart Federighi is in charge of iOS but Ive is in charge of "human interface" across all products. So it's kind of difficult to know exactly where the buck stops with "iOS 7". But my guess is even if Cook took Ive off of "human interface" iOS 7 wouldn't magically revert back to iOS 6.

Thats simply disgusting. Empty, even a once wallpaper looks ugly like that. What the hell are they thinking???

It's a matter of taste... I just "tested it out" on my iP5 (checked the pic in full screen) and I find it pleasantly clean and quite beautiful. What else would you like to see on an "incoming call" screen??

And I much appreciate that they brought back the "real button" feeling for the slider, finally I can "feel" again if I pulled the slider enough to answer the call (just like in old iOS).

as a graphic designer, i think it looks fantastic... everyone has their own opinion.

I know. But as a graphic designer also, i think THIS looks fantastic. This is the way it should be. Not an empty blurred screen

i agree that the original layout looked good. What i think would be pretty slick would be using the new design (blurred), as soon as you slide to unlock the blur zoomed away and you were left with the clear photo of who you were speaking with. Goes along with Apple's clear and distinct layers as well...

Yeah, THIS particular Apple promotion material truly looks good. But pick any other picture and you end up being completely unable to read the caller name, right? You either let a full, unaltered picture fill the screen but with the risk that it completely ruins legibility, or you focus on legibility. I think Apple is going in the right way with this one.

Not to mention that the new slider looks much better, imho One of the greatest things of the old iOS slider was that it really felt good to slide it across, wasn't it? Somehow it was visually luring: "slide me across". :D They brought back this feeling with this round shaped button.

Get an hp touchpad. :)

A top row is great on a tablet. But too many keys on a phone. I wish landscape mode keys were smaller so I could actually see more than one line of writing. The best thing would be to have small numbers on the qwerty line in one corner from 0-9 so you hold and get the numbers

The funny thing is, they made the iPhone longer, so they could of added in another numeric row on the taller screen for zero impact.
