Apple Releases iOS 7.1 Beta 4 to Developers

Swipe down on your playlists and new options will appear, such as, "Search", "Genius Playlist" and "New Playlist"

I was going to ask about which crashes until I saw it was an iPad Air. I'm too chicken to put a beta on the wifey's. ;) So just an iPhone here.
 
Shiny? Shiny does *not* go with flat.... that's all I need to see now, flat and shiny living side by side each other. Great.

I had crashes on both the Air and the 5S. A friend of mine said his wife's 4S crashes frequently too.

Apple never said iOS was flat. Removing skeuomorphism does not make something flat.

removing all the gradients, shadows, embossing and pillow effect while using solid monotone colours does make it flat

ios7 is flat.
 
Non Developers

hi is this beta available for non developers if so how would i be able to get this as beta 2 and 3 weren't available for non developers?

It's for developers only bruh. If your a non dev google is your friend.

What do you mean? You have to logout of 'Find My iPhone' and then log back in after it updates?

I've had some issues updating lately where it makes my phone totally unusable..

Someone should tell Trent. That site is crashtastic. Hopefully the majority of the crashy sites are fixed by ios 7.1. I would hate to lose my ipad jailbreak but I would give it up for less crashes.

It just makes you enter your Apple ID and password after it updates.

Don't think there are really any alternatives for devices not registered with Apple.

That's normal. Apple requires activation of the devices. It shouldn't be a problem though since this is just a developer release. The public isn't affected by this requirement.
 
Can anyone confirms if they jailbreak works with 7.1 beta 4. Its a dropbox link and its clean. it says verison 1.0.5. its modified. URL Removed by moderator

Okay, that's what I thought. It is kind of an annoyance, but oh well.

I can confirm this much that the file is clean and not a virus. Please anyone with beta 4 confirm if it jailbreaks.

Also how fast are the animations on 7.1 beta 4. Are they faster than beta 3

I'm a actually developer so your luck can be passed on to someone else. There are other alternatives for non developers but they would have to do their research. I will not post the alternatives websites on here but there is and you just never knew about it

No, not that. It makes me activate after upgrading. I have to enter my Apple ID and password in iTunes (or connect to Wifi and do it on the phone) as if I had just restored my phone.

This wasn't the case upgrading to 7.1 Beta 1, or 7.0.1 to 2,3,4.
