Pastels.

I can't stand pastels and can't seem to get away from them with this OS. As well, I use folders for everything. I used to be able to access all of the apps in a single folder touch, but now have to go through several swipes to get to my apps.

Lots of wasted space.

I've found that going to Settings > General > Background App Refresh, and turning that off prevents a substantial amount of battery drain.

I turned that off and it reduced the drain, but it is still draining much faster than before. I also turned off parallax and made sure to use a static background. I've had an iPhone 4,4S, 5, iPad 1, iPad 2, iPad 3, and have loved them all. 2 Apple TV's. Several MacBook Pros. People call me a fanboy.

This version of iOS makes me want to throw up. It looks horrible.

I keep getting error message "Software Update Unavailable" though it just spent over 10 minutes downloading to both my iPhone 5 and iPad min. It seems to have downloaded on my iPhone but takes several tries to verify update, still not verifying update on my iPad mini.

mines downloaded, and i have to say the only reason i downloaded it is for a change, other than i dont know what all the fuss is about, my battery dropped 4% in about 6 minutes of me fiddling with it and looking at the new backgrounds, apple really screwed up with this one. and just for the record, the app designs are ugly as ****!

PLEASE HELP ME!!!

What is ERROR 9006? I cannot download and I've been waiting all day.:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Yes, trying to update my iPad gives that same error! And can't do it OTA as I have no space :/.

Here's what Apple says (which makes no sense to me as I have no 3rd party security software :():
Errors related to third-party security software
Error 2, 4 (or -4), 6, 1000, 9006

Follow Troubleshooting security software. Often, uninstalling third-party security software will resolve these errors.
There may be third-party software that modifies your default packet size in Windows by inserting a TcpWindowSize entry into your registry. Your default packet size being set incorrectly can cause these errors. Contact the manufacturer of the software that installed the packet size modification for assistance or follow this article by Microsoft: How to reset Internet Protocol (TCP/IP).
Verify that access to ports 80 and 443 are allowed on your network.
Verify that communication to albert.apple.com or phobos.apple.com is not blocked by a firewall, or other Internet security setting.
Discard the .ipsw file, open iTunes and attempt to download the update again. See the steps under Advanced Steps > Rename, move, or delete the iOS software file (.ipsw) below for file locations.
Restore your device while connected to a different network.
Restore using a different computer.

Actually, for Google's Nexus phones, they are able to rollout OS updates gradually so it doesn't kill their servers. Apple should really consider it.

Google even allows it for their app store as well which is great for developers worried about pushing out buggy updates.

And then everyone would be here asking where their update was and crying massive fail that they can't immediately download it.

Instaling.

woooooooo.

Well this update sucked.

My battery has dropped 15% in the last hour with minimal use, the list / agenda view is gone for my calendar which I depended on heavily. The amount of animations are irritating, and the colors and icons are horrible.

I can tell you I found the list view (which is use 90% of the time) appears when you tap the search icon when in the calendar app.

I think the UI is intended to match the plastic iPhone 5c.

It would be nice to have a UI that is better suited to the 5S.

Having some serious issues with iOS 7 on my iPhone 4S:

Every time I want to write a text message or just type in the 4 letters to unlock the phone, there is a 10-sec keyboard delay between the keystrokes and when the letters actually appear on the phone! I have already rebooted the phone multiple times and closed all apps but the problem persists!

Thanks.. just found that via Google search.

Very intuitive. It was nice having the ability to click a date and have the agenda appear at the bottom.

What iThingy are you seeing the drain on? Ars saw drain on everything but it was like 20 minutes out of a charge, except the iPhone 5, it was much larger on it for some reason.

I have been stuck on "updating iCloud settings" for 2.5 hours. The phone is useless, can't even make or receive calls.

Please can somebody tell me how I can download iOS7 but not update my phone? I am usually given the options by iTunes to Cancel, Download Only or D/L and Update but the download only option is missing now.
